Boxing Discussion VIII

I see there's a couple scraps tonight. I'm debating Callum Walsh Dec +400 hedged with rounds 7-8 +400 and 9-10 +650.

Looking ahead to April 12th:

Boots decision -120 over Stanionis; hedged with rounds 7-12 +300. (Bet365).

Anyone think Chordale Booker is live against Fundora this Saturday?

I feel that Booker can fight in close to make it tough to score. Booker by Decision at +2200 feels live to me.

any thoughts?

There's not much on his record but you can only beat who's put in front of you I guess. Being stopped by Ammo in 2022 as his only notable opponent not ideal. Fondura much stronger resume

It will be something I will be looking for when live betting. If he starts off strong I’ll give it a shot.

Any thoughts on Hrgovic vs Joyce?

I think Joyce is shot and Hrgovic can really punch.

Joe Joyce is 39 years old. His style is to lead with his head, take 2 punches to land 1. Joyce got knocked out cold 2 fights ago. He is also slurring his words in a recent interview.

Hrgovic is a big hard puncher. He has good technique, and something like 17 wins with 14 KO's.

I’m thinking about this:

I like it. I wouldn't be surprised if Hrgovic tried to blitz Joyce out of the gate.

The over/under is 7.5 rounds -120 as well. May be worth a look.

Sunday:

Whittaker Decision or Technical Decision -120
I think Cameron is a very live dog. Cameron was going to drown Whittaker in their first fight. Cameron is in better shape for this fight as he is training full time.

I’m looking at live betting it.

I will LIVE bet it as well and agreed. Cameron's only +240ish. I saw Bet Victor has a boost on Whittaker by KO/TKO/DQ at +400 so I can basically cancel that from happening most likely.

Thats what I'm thinking.

I've paired it with a rogue one though as I'm a degenerate gambler. I think Clarke is gonna be really gun shy after the Wardley loss, I've got him on points at 5/1. Definitely an out there prediction.

I like it! I could easily see this happening. This article was a good read and he definitely may be more gunshy and health-preserving. I may hedge with a round 1-2 blowout for Clarke as well.

Hope you bet the blowout 🤣

Eubank should do as he pleases this weekend. Looked shite last time out but he's a proven guy at 160 fighting a relatively unproven guy at 147 who's bloating up 2 weight classes.

Eubank pretty solid chin, and more power. I think he wobbles CB with an uppercut and stops him with a flurry soon after

ML at 1.61 pretty big, ITD at 2.35 for 0.75u

Hedge with Connor decision at +800 and seems like a pretty safe bet. I doubt Connor stops Eubank moving up.

Weigh in, rehydration clauses, Benn getting a small ring approved and horse hair gloves against Eubank will. This thing is all set up for Benn, any close rounds will go his way me thinks. Second guessing this a bit

Any bets in the other fights gents?
