Boxing Discussion VI

I forgot Leduan keeps his hands so low and relies 100% on head movement. He is in danger of losing this fight.

Barthélemy was lucky to get the draw, but they always get leniency on the cards so I was never betting against him. Ah well, refund (for the ML bet).

although i hedged the draw on both the decision lines to break even i still lost because ramirez shouldve won

these obnoxious barthmelmys are just shit for boxing. some people might refer to them as being slick but they are just thieves and fortunately a ko waiting to happen at hopefully great odds because of people that boxrec as opposed to actually capping the fights.

mike perez 40/1 rounds 10-12

round 8 and 9; 50/1

if mike can somehow revert back to the form that saw him take over 170 power punches from the legit heavy-handed hw russian magomed and proceed to walk him down and beat the shit out of him these lines could be a very good play

I agree

I'm gonna play Perez ML

Think I've decided on my main play for Briedis vs Perez.

Skybet - Briedis 7-12 OR Points @1.80 (-125.00)

i really liked recky dulay in this spot at essentially pick em odds but hes flying out of LAX to boston on a fuken thursday, weighing in on a friday and fighting on a saturday, not at all factoring in jet lag and the time change. this not even taking into consideration that his last two fights were at 133 and 135 pounds as opposed to this fight at 130.

amazing that these low-level guys with no management or financial backing cant spring for two or three days more for room and board for a critical fight.

Weighing over it for a few days, just done watching all the fight footage I can find of both and I'm going to play Thomas Stalker tomorrow. Well schooled southpaw, extensive amateur pedigree with wins over the likes of Josh Taylor and Luke Jackson. Dodd hasn't impressed me and Stalker hasn't looked a world beater but he's impressed me more than Dodd.

He looks like he's had a good camp out in Spain too, I like the current price so will be taking it.

Nice to see you on Stalker too Cr0w. I have two units on him now at +140.

Final bets for tonight for anyone that's interested.

Briedis 7-12 or DEC @ 1.80

Paul Butler - TKO @ 3.50

Thomas Stalker ML @ 2.50

Ohara Davies TKO @ 1.73

Ohara Davies 1-6 @3.00

Fielding vs Brophy - Fight Goes the Distance @1.83

Bredis Decision +250 seems good - Seems to be contend to win a decision on volume and not put him self in too much danger, especially from a puncher like Perez

I would have picked Briedis DEC straight up if we'd seen more of Perez at Cruiserweight, decided to include the 7-12 TKO in case Perez fades late on which is definitely a possibility given the circumstances in my opinion.
