Many thought Gonzalez definitely won the first fight, mainly due to the stats.
Gonzalez threw a lot more, landed at a much higher percentage including power punches. The knockdown from a body shot in round 1 from Wangek certainly helped his case (although Wangek's point deduction should nullify that) but Gonzalez won the majority of the of opening half of the fight after the knockdown. I think the 2 clash of heads that cut Gonzalez open could have disrupted him despite it looking like it actually spurred him on initially. I was impressed that Wangek managed to rally back in the later rounds but still think Gonzalez done enough to win.

Which is a possibility, I hope the referee is a lot more strict this time because they didn't all look accidental.
the scar tissue is already there ready to open. i liked roman at the open of -300 as he should win but couldnt bet it. his face took a beating against both cuadras and wangek i dont know if that face has one more in it should a cut happen in the early rounds

The early rounds will be telling, Wangek knows what he's doing and it's not the first fight he's had points deducted for headbutting. I have a play I like but may wait a couple of rounds or may just bite the bullet before the fight. I don't think the cuts will cause the fight to be stopped if they are similar to last time but they can also be a hindrance.
i dont think that theyll stop it but a cut could be severe enough to change the outcome of the fight ala winky/hopkins
wright fought well for a couple rounds after the hopkins intentional headshot but in the later rounds just appeared to give up
I absolutely hate betting rematches where the underdog won the first time, especially if the result was controversial or if the favorite that previously lost is popular. I always feel like the boxing establishment wants to return to normalcy and the underdog will have to beat the daylights out of the popular fighter or stop him to win the second time. I won a lot of money on Rungvisai the first time. But let's be honest, who among boxing promoters, journalists, tv networks or fans outside of Thailand wants a non-English speaking Thai champion who came out of nowhere like Rungvisai? It's just not good for business. I hate this rematch. I just read on BedLeftHook that they are trying to set up Bellew vs Haye II for December. I hate the idea of betting that one too after I won so much on Bellew upsetting Haye after he blew his knee out.

After watching and re-watching some fights of Estrada and Cuadras I have to agree with Quincy K, Cuadras @2.50 looks a good bet. I think his combinations and hand speed win it for him, he's capable of fighting off the back foot when pressed but he can force his opponents back too. Estrada doesn't impress me overall when being pushed back, he is good offensively with his lead left hook a dangerous weapon but I think Cuadras dictates the pace and direction of the fight if he is up for this.

This is a savvy comment. It is too bad that we need to factor in politics into our bets but its reality.
the 21-year-old erickson lubin could be a very live dog if has the punch resistance and especially if charlo is over-looking him . it seems like jermell has already forgotten that he was losing to the glass-jawed jackson before his come-from-behind ko just two fights ago

Not doing a big write up but I think there's value in Nantapech @4.00 tonight against Reveco even with it being in Argentina. He has youth on his side and shouldn't be this big a dog. I won on Iran Diaz vs Concepcion @5.00 odds last weekend so here's hoping for 2 in a row.

Nantapech done well against Reveco, close exciting fight I scored 115-113 Reveco, hometown judging definitely playing a part one even giving Reveco every round. Need to bet less against hometown guys especially in South America.
