Boxing Discussion VI

Also freeroll for 5.22u on Heraldez-Borrego match. Some small loses lb on 0.2 Dulorme dec @ 21 and 0.2u Dulorme dec @ 11. So bummed that Dulorme didn't hit, that would have made such a big profit.
Overall, +18.4u for a good night!

Btw, I went to sleep during Conor-Floyd...would have smashed Floyd after 2-3 rounds though...What was his biggest ML during the fight?

I managed to get 1.47 after round 2 I think, wouldn't be surprised if it reached higher, Floyd taking some easy rounds off made a lot believe Conor had a chance.

Wowww. I felt sour after missing 1.35 after R3 I think. But 1.47 is crazy high.

I'm on Canelo ML & Decision

Bingo. It'll be a dog fight at times but I favour him to outwork GGG, especially from round 8 on.

My only only concern is that Alvarez is not a huge KO puncher despite being perceived that way by many. He could be in trouble if he allows GGG to walk him down like smaller guys than GGG have done before. Both guys probably get hurt at some point but I think Canelo's pace and speed are what separates them here.

Speed? Canelo is slow as shit.

I think I will take the over here, both are tough as fuk.

Disagree, he will have the speed advantage here, what will be more important is who wins the battle of the jab.

hes not slow as shit...hes just not as fast as people make him out to be in real time

Agreee, of course, he's not rapid. But he should definitely have faster hands here over GGG, but that is just one factor of this fight as I mentioned.

i think that if the golovkin that fought lemuiex still exists(averaged 75 punches a round) canelo doesnt have much of a chance. admittingly, i probably rate david higher than he should be because hes just a fuken badass that doesnt talk shit.

i mean who does this curtis stevens, canelos primary training partner for the cotto fight who is on record later saying that canelo is not a middleweight

from the opening bell, lemuiex just walked down curtis and beat his ass

Yeah Lemieux is one on my favourite boxers, awesome guy and as you said a badass. As much as I like GGG I don't think that version of him exists now. I think he slows down after 8 and Canelo takes over down the stretch.

Why is Sheriff such a dog? He's unbeaten.

Haven't got round to watching him yet but I can only assume he hasn't looked fantastic against the cans he's faced so far, will try get round to watching some footage.

Also keep in mind though GGG is baby-faced he's almost 10 years older. He has taken much damage throughout his career and don't think he's ever been visibly rocked.

Carson Jones to beat Margarito this weekend @1.83, brilliant price in my opinion.

Under 9.5 @2.50 too.

pathetic uk card today.. unibet did not even bother to cap the fights :D 7 out 8 fights have one fighter with a +1600 line

cash +250 by decision

heredia was a kickboxer and has been knocked down by a kick but appeared to have solid punch resistance in the two fights that i have seen. felix claims to be working on sitting down more on his punches and going for more kos so a little risk here as he will be going for the stoppage for all six rounds.

im staying away. i think zanfer is going to rob carson in mexico should it go to the cards. and margarito did not look that bad against alvarez, who antonio clearly beat regardless of what the cards read. he outworked ramon and scored a clean knockdown as well.
