Mikey - 139.5
Yo Adrien - 138.75
AB looked spectacular imo. Mikey not spectacular looking on the scales but not expected to look good up at 140 and never was a sculpted dude anyway. Feel a lot more confident in my AB bets, though, now that I've seen him looking strong and energetic a day out.
ouch that looks nasty
the last time broner weighed under140 pounds he threw 685 punches in a dominating win over khabib who many believe beat varags in his previous fight.
if adrian can throw 685 punches against garcia, mikey will have a tough chance of winning with mayweather being the promoter.

I'd be shocked if Broner is capable of keeping that kind of output now, even though it's only 2 years later. Allakhverdiev was coming off a near 2 year lay off and is not close to the level of opponent as Garcia, he's a slow and lacks any power.
I don't think Mayweather Promotions will make any difference on the cards here, DiBella is co-promoting the card.
unless there is backend deal dibella has no ties to garcia, who is a free agent. im fairly certain that the cards and ny crowd favor broner here, one o fthe reasons i bet adriab
sure, the skillset of mikey is superior to khabib, apples to apples not comparing a 130 to 140
dejan never connected on garcia so his punch resistance at 135 is still unknown let alone at 140. garcia couldve been affected by the weight at 130 and his punch resistance compromised(140 cotto is a good example of this) but he was dropped by 130 roman and nearly dropped by 130 burgos.
there is no way that either burgos or roman punch anywhere near broner.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't put too much weight in the promoters being a big deciding factor, it can be overplayed sometimes in my opinion.
For sure Broner has the power to hurt Mikey but it's another question whether he actually gets the opportunity to. I can see Broner slowing down in this fight so if he doesn't catch Mikey in the first 6 I'm not sure he can put him away later on in the fight. I genuinely think Broner can really bring out the best in Mikey here, whether it be competitive or not, I'm expecting a very good showing from him.
i think garcia shouldve taken another fight at 135. comney, beltran, easter jr.
there is no doubt that broner is a top 140 if he wants to be. and then ward, hopkins, mayweather all giving him support; garcia is in for a war that he might not be ready for at 135 let alone a 140 because broner knows this is it for him and is going to ktfo mikey or get ktfo trying.
no reason for team garcia to have made this fight when there were easier and more profitable fights at 135
Lomachenko, Bradley etc all backing Garcia.
I agree there are easier fights out there at easier weights but to take this fight they obviously feel confident here.
no, im not talking about who they favor on winning, im talking about support. supposedly, they are all reaching out to broner and telling him that he has to get his shit together, that hes running out of time.
broner is not going to let these guys down, and if he does hes not doing it without a 110 percent effort
imo, team garcia made a bad play here.
no reason for this type of fight right now theoretically jumping up two weight classes agaisnt a guy with his back to the wall with proven punch resistance(although in all likelihood not the same as the maidaina fight adrian admiiting that he was hurt against granados and suposedly kod by spence) and proven power.
Any thoughts on:
Warren vs Arroyo and Gallimore vs Deloach?
Warren is more experinced, and has been quite unlucky in his career this far, lost incredibly closely to Zhakiyanov last time out, but he's an incredibly technical boxer who's not afraid to get dirty in there. Probably takes a decision here if his head is still in it. - He has low volume at times though and prefers to counter which can lose him close rounds.
Deloach is promoted by premier league boxing and the event is put on by them. He's obviously a very solid prospect with some good wins over other prospects, but Gallimore is a knockout artist who can put you out with one shot, especially that left hook on the inside is vicious. I don't like his tendency to just cover up with straight forearm guard, but he might be able to give Deloach some trouble here?
Tempted to his Corral's too, because Ortiz is an old quitter, but he's not very good
Broner just keeps getting bet. Garcia all the way down to -170 now.
I have a 0.40u bet on Broner +510, but have been thinking of playing the line movement and switching sides to Garcia at nice odds. What the f, to do
