Boxing Discussion VI

jesse hart +350

hes wide and somewhat sloppy but what he lacks in technique his power might compensate. and imo gilbertos biggest quality, output, decreased against abraham as if he was concerened about aa's power. also, hart is promoted by top rank and i dont think that there are going to be any robberies or bad decisions this weekend after the canelo debacle even though gilberto is the house fighter. there might be a chance to live bet in case hart shares his dads weak punch resistance

hughie fury +120

i think parker fights conservatively the first half of the bout in the hopes of taking out hughie later in the fight if fury gasses like he appeared to do in the kassi fight. hopefully there will be an opportunity to free roll sometime in the fifth or sixth round

Hughie said that him gassing in the Kassi fight was due to his skin condition or something. Said that he went to a doctor and the doctor was surprised that he was able to fight with the skin condition. Apparently he treated the skin condition and all is fine now.

i remember reading that but not putting too much into it.

im going to middle hart for sure if given the opportunity. im a believer that punch resistance is inherited as opposed to being god given

I'm on Ramirez against Jesse Hart. Don't really see how Hart can win this considering that Abraham was not able to take one round against Ramirez.
I got Ramirez -300 in a triple along with Gadelha and u1.5 Gokhan - Henrique, got 5u on this.

the abraham fight is actually the reason why i took a chance on the +350 who could have questionable punch resistance. gilberto was limited to throwing 530 punches when he nomrally throws 800-900 and imo hart punches a lot harder than the faded abraham that fought ramirez.

i think the philly fighter starts strong and his pressure could give ramirez some problems in the first half of the fight

Also on Ramirez here, playing his ML in a parlay and a single play on his DEC line.

I think he's too sharp for Hart here, maybe a few close rounds early on but I think he'll pick Hart off once he finds his range and score the cleaner shots en route to a comfortable decision.

Jesse Hart/Gilberto Ramirez does not go distance (+130) ~$115.20 for for ~$149.76

Jorge Linares (-350) vs Luke Campbell $1400.00 for $400.00

Ramirez piecing him up. Managed to get lb 0.2u Ramirez dec @ 17 and 1u Ramirez dec @ 4.33

Yeah Ramirez UD was my main play for tonight as I said earlier, a different class than Hart. Hart is tough but offers little in the way of defence and Ramirez is too classy for him. Also got on Ramirez DEC @12.00 after round 5 so that's a nice top up to the winnings.

i picked up +900 decision in the seventh round

Credit to Hart for his toughness, I thought he looked done after 4 rounds. Ramirez has weaknesses for sure, Hart just wasn't the guy to exploit them.

Valdez fight is a war, gets knocked down in round 4 then scores a knockdown of his own in round 5.

Guys, I'd like to emphasize a bet on Shayne Singleton @ 1.73 against Peter McDonagh.
McDonagh's record is 27-28-1, but it's true he had good opponents. I'm not saying that Singleton is much better, they are still two bums, but McDonagh may be on his way out, he's 39 and looked very soft at the weigh-ins.
Also, I like to take small things into account. McDonagh acted like a prick at the weigh-ins, pushed Singleton and then hid behind the bouncers when Singleton was coming at him. He proceeded by opening a beer and drinking it. Also, he's born in Galway which is the city of residence of one of my ex-girlfriend, so fuck that. It counts, right?

Whatever, bum fight, but Singleton is more eager, younger and he should take that coward's head off. 3u Singleton @ 1.75 (ladbrokes boost)

He got an UD I see.
This parlay, still a long shot, but it's going fuckin' sweet. Pretty bummed I didn't get to bet Valdez dec prior to the fight as well. His UD line was like 4.50 or so I think.

"0.2u Fury Dec + Dorticos KO + Linares + Ramirez UD + Wale UD + Singleton + Valdez UD @ 292.3"

peter mcdonagh is trained by peter fury who has indirect ties to hennesy sports, the promoter of the fight
