Boxing Discussion VI

Got to fucking feel for Takam there, he came that far for just to have it stopped prematurely, poor guy didn't take all that punishment to be stopped on the feet without being in huge danger, personally feel he was treated badly there whether he had a chance of winning or not.

good stoppage.

takam had nothing left but to take a beating for two more rounds with vision affected in both eyes.

aj is a class act. having his nose broken by a headbut and later touching gloves after another headbut whats not to like about this guy

has a chance to become the next ray leonard

Bad post dude

Hang on weren't you saying you just see him as another Frank Bruno a few pages ago? Lol.

as of right now, yes, because hes fought no one but the class he showed tonight...did you even watch the fight?

the headbut appeared to break ajs nose, he never complained or bitched, and when their heads clashed again and edwards warned takam, joshua, along with his broken nose, put out his gloves to carlos acknowledging that it wasnt intentional

like i said, pure class

mikey garcias nose break against salido, well, he just fuken quit

WTF.... Bet365 have voided my Cordina under 4.5 rounds bet despite it going over 4.5......?

I'll happily take all that money back.

It was only a 4-round fight in the end, bro. You been drinking?

Didn't realise, it wasn't aired so wasn't alerted it was a 4 rounder, makes sense now with the time constraints etc.

Ah, got ya. I was at the stadium so didn't realise it wasn't on TV.

Jamie McDonnell DEC @ 1.67 will be getting played. Scores shouldn't have been so wide last time but it's just proof of how hard it is to take a DEC from a Matchroom boxer. Year later, Solis now 35 McDonnell only 31, knockdowns are a possibility but I don't see either guy putting the other away, McDonnell to win 8 to 4, fairly decisive.

Crow in the first bout was it a clear mcdonnell win or pretty close?

I still had it McDonnell by 2 but a year on I can't see Solis doing as well this time.

Plus the scores are likely to be just as wide even if it is close, Solis is going to have to dominate to win in my opinion.

Some nice plays for the weekend. I have increased my units so they will have more weight on the plays' confidence.

2.5u Chisora-Kabayel to go to distance @ 2.50
3u Porter dec @ 1.82
0.2u Bivol R4 @ 7

I have my eyes on another play that I want to make, not sure if we'll get lines though, I'll be back.

Chisora DEC @ 4.00 looks good.

Seen Kabayel fight before, not really impressed, fought mediocre hand picked guys and struggled to win a DEC against Oloukun in Turkey a few years back.

He's trained with the Fury's before and has youth on his side but as a boxer I don't think he beats Chisora at this stage. Probably tough enough to hang in there and make it competitive but 4.00 looks generous for Chisora DEC in my eyes.

Some others I like.

Lipinets to win by (T)KO vs Kondo. - Love Lipinets and as tough as Kondo is I think Lipinets becomes the first man to stop him, @ 1.50 I'll take it, if you want more value I think rounds 7-12 holds value @ 2.30.

Wilder vs Stiverne Under 9.5 - Marathonbet have it at 1.40 which is nice as a parlay piece but Wilder 1-6 is 1.67 which I'll likely play some on too, I think Wilder gets him out of there in the early rounds.

Bivol 1-4 @ 1.83 is good too. I think he tears though Broadhurst in the early rounds. Agnew barely opened up and still got ripped up, Broadhurst isn't more talented in my opinion and from some interviews he's said he won't shell up and will dish it as good as he gets it which if true is an even worse idea.
