Why is Lee Appleyard favorite vs Sean Dodd? He only fought bums.

Heavy on the dogs again this weekend. If Berto finds Porter's chin with his uppercuts, I'm going to be a happy man.

Looking to cr0w for dodd ryder and langford thoughts! All seem good dog plays especially dodd and ryder no little about langford. I like tyrone nurse but -900...really

Agreed, Dodd and Ryder are great dog bets.

Appleyard is favoured just from being associated with Coldwell and Bull, as well as having the size/length advantage but he is no world beater and Dodd has every chance of beating him.

Again, Langford is a decent dog too. Khurtsidze is a solid test and step up for him; very aggressive but doesn't have the fastest hands. He does slow down late on and leaves himself wide open when he gets too aggressive so I rate Langford's chances, especially with Khurtsidze's lay off. Plus he's nearly 40 and 5ft 4', I'll be on Langford for sure.

.5u Michael perez, not confident but I think his stock is down after the beatdown Petrov put on him last time out. Really don't know much about his opponent which is obviously not a good sign and why Im leaving my bet smaller. Still, Perez still young, great body puncher, been tested against better comp than Lopez, younger guy, good trainer who he will only improve under as time goes on.

Think this line is more of a reaction to the ass beating he took last fight than the quality of Lopez. Petrov is ust really good, he gave Flanagan fits last fight, dude is a VERY well rounded fighter and he's hard to look good against.

What odds did you get Perez at, BT? I recall the Petrov loss and I also saw that Lopez got bet down quite a bit, so I guess a lot of people were fading Perez after that stoppage loss. I'm not familiar with Lopez, but I got seduced by Lopez's +155 with a lot of stoppages. Also, I just turned on the broadcast and Teddy Atlas says he thought there'd be an upset in the main event in his colorful way, so there's that, lol.

Took him -135 earlier, as mentioned I didn't have time to look into Lopez a whole lot so I wouldn't recommend a tail. Only got .5u on it myself but yeah I just think the fact that Lopez is the older guy who's barely fought outside of Argentina getting so much love means he's either the real deal, just untested, in a lot of people's eyes. Or they just don't think much of Perez and the Petrov loss is not a good fight to look at and be willing to lay any juice on whatsoever.

So I definitely get the betting of Lopez, but I also think this could be a good spot to take a chance on Perez, even as a small favorite. Petrov is really really tough and just a really good fighter overall. I think some are overrating the beating he took as him being a can which I don't agree with, Perez ain't a world beater but he's decent, that beatdown was more due to Petrov's abilities than Perez being low level. Not loving Perez as a fav here but have a feeling this is a fight that could have been bet down to the point where Perez has the value. Like I said, not a super confident bet though.

Also watch for his body shots, if Perez starts roasting the body early and often then he'll be in good shape to win this, imo.

Let's hope its night of the dog!

Lopez managed to knock down Perez in round 8, but had already dropped too many early rounds and lost a split decision on ESPN2 tonght. I don't feel that was a bad small dog bet despite Lopez losing. Congrats, BT, for Perez pulling that out.

Bummed that I missed +120 yesterday on Dodd. Still placed 2u on -105 at Marathon

Edit : 1u Stevenson DEC +450 at PP. Really like that line, it's his debut and it is not a big weight class.
I really like these decision bets on potential future stars that have their debut pro fights because there are just a few rounds and their opponents have a chance of hanging in there.

Added on this bout in Germany Saturday afternoon:

Arthur Abraham (-230) vs Robin Krasniqi $230.00 for $100.00

2u Dodd -105
1.5u Stevenson DEC +450
0.8u Berto +450
0.5u Hughes DEC +1200
0.2u Langford DEC + Dodd + Ryder KO + Abraham + Stevenson DEC to win 63u

BOL to everybody

What's everyones thoughts on Berto/Porter & Rosado/Murray? Not really that tempted by either underdog

did you watch tape on langford yet crow?

the height and reach advantage looks huge.. Khurtsidze missed weight too but made it on his second attempt i think

Yeah watched as much as I could fit in, wrote a little on it a few posts ago in reply to Sham.

I think Langford takes it, probably take his ML and DEC.

Murray DEC and Porter DEC in my opinion, could see Murray getting a late stoppage if he cuts Rosado up early but likelyhood is DEC.
