Not a huge boxing fan, so maybe I don't fully understand scoring, but I tailed Crow on Omar and thought he clearly won the decision. They both looked shocked when the decision was read..

I was on Cherry and from what I read it was a lucky decision...

I am on Dario Socci at +800 and derek edwards at +330

There's a lot of that in boxing, especially when it's a competitive fight with arguably close rounds. Sometimes one boxer throws more punches but the other throws seemingly harder punches. Sometimes one fighter starts rounds strong and his opponent finishes rounds strong. Sometimes one boxer starts the early rounds fast and wins the first few rounds and the other boxer finishes strong and appears to win the later rounds. Sometimes one boxer is head hunting and knocks his opponent's head back while the other is landing more body blows. Sometimes one boxer is throwing beautiful combinations at range while the other does good inside work. It can make it hard to score, so the commentators see it one way, the fans another way and three judges three other completely different ways.

Not exactly a boxing expert, but I was on Cherry and thought Omar clearly won like you. Especially when the 1st scorecard was so wide. Felt kinda dirty

Yeah, there are a lot of fights I watch and think Boxer A is winning most rounds (even without a bet on) and one of the judges will have Boxer B winning almost every round. Guess it all depends on what you're looking for; (forward pressure, punches thrown vs landed etc...) thought the judges scorecards were pretty off, especially how wide one was but on to the next one I guess. Hoping for a good Williams showing.

Anyone have a strong lean on Flanagan vs Petrov? Petrov is a pretty aggressive and hard nosed fighter. Any value at +400 or better?

I just really worry he won't get a fair shake if he does well

I lost a little money betting Perez against Petrov, so I'm going to give him a chance to win it back for me and more. Small bet of .35 units at +424 on Petrov against Flanagan.

Same here man. Petrov would likely be Flanagan's best win and he'll come looking to win but I think Flanagan does outpoint him; Petrov is tough and went the full 12 with Zlaticanin and been in there with Maidana (was KO'd) so I find it hard to see Terry putting him away. Flanagan points @ 2.50 and around is good value for what is the most likely scenario I'd say. Plus I know it's not always the case and Germany used to get a bad wrap for it but it's hard to win a close fight against an Englishman in England unless you outclass them (Linares vs Crolla 2).

Petrov's tough brawling style, toughness and body work will be enough to force Flanagan's best out of him, he's a good opponent and likely will find spells of success in the fight. Flanagan is the cleaner box and the better technical boxer and I think that should carry him through but a few shaky moments wouldn't shock me. Very good card overall, a lot of prospects on it.

Flanagan dec +200 Ladbrokes and +175 Skybet - on it!

Cattrall dec or itd? Gethin has been stopped twice with ear problems recently.

Gooding the dog any lean here? Besides Kelly's fight with Smith he has fought nobody.

Boxrec capping but Villanueva is my fav dog on this card in fights that have wide odds. Anyone have any intel on this one?

£60 Flan dec +200 and £100 Flan dec +175. Will leave it at that don't want to commit too big to any one side as i have an issue switching side on lb if im already on someone pre fight.

You think we might get a playable ml on Flanagan during the fight if Petrov can make it competitive?

I think we actually could and it wouldn't surprise me if Petrov starts with a decent pace so could very well happen, I sure hope so.

Brain says Cattrall DEC however..... probably eat my words after this but I'm going to take a stab at Gethin for the upset, his ear issue has been fixed [http://www.expressandstar.com/sport...martin-gethin-solves-a-long-standing-problem] and although he lost to Little he showed toughness in the Hibbert fight, got a nice finish and he knows this is do or die. Cattrall just hasn't impressed me hugely recently despite having sparred with Mayweather for the Pacquiao fight etc. My pick would be Cattrall DEC but for value and a bet I like the Gethin upset.

Both Godding and Kelly have fought relative nobodies with the exception of Kelly's fight with Smith like you say and Godding's fight with Corcoran who is a tough domestic fight for anyone but there's certainly value in Godding. More experienced, has the size advantage, tough and he works well off his lead left. I'll play him as underdog.

I think Tete stops Villanueva in this one, @2.50 which is decent enough odds but going to look into the markets a bit more for this one.

Cattrell dec +275 @ PP.

Gethin +900 WHill.

Nicola Adams dec +200 @ PP.

Gethin said both ears popped in the Diaz fight so that could be three stoppage losses due to his ears. Think books are way off with that decision line.

Yeah the Cattrell DEC line is way off, he doesn't pack massive power and hasn't looked great recently so definitely agree with that.

I'm on Smith tomorrow night. Williams is impressive, but has never been tested against a guy who won't run from an inside fight. Smith thrives in that environment, and did pretty well against Canelo there.

I put a little stab of 0.25 units on Gethin at +1100, Cr0w. What are you guys' thoughts about the Lomachenko's bout? Do we think he gets an early stoppage, a late stoppage or can Sosa last the distance?
