ryan way too slow and hittable.. tough seeing him lasting 12 rounds unless taylor slows down

man ryan sucked.. looked so scared from the opening minute =/

I knew that referee was going to stop it after the second knockdown because he was hovering so close like a damn ghoul.

Hit taylor r5 +350 after he hurt him end of r4 with body shot. Covered my loss and made £25 profit

i know nothing about luis ortiz but malik scott is a good boxer man, +1200 suggests he has no chance?

can someone break this one down?

Ortiz is a monster puncher and built like a brick shithouse, and like a lot of Cubans he was also a really good amateur before he went pro.

As you mentioned, Scott's a good boxer but he doesn't have much pop and his chin isn't great. He also gets hit a bit more than he should, sometimes gets himself trapped against the ropes and just covers up trying to pick off shots, that'll be a huge problem against a guy like Ortiz.

I think Ortiz probably finishes him early but if you have a lean on Scott then I'm not gonna try to push you off it. Ortiz is old and might slow down if he can't get the early finish, but that being said another good boxer in Jennings who went the distance with Wlad not long ago, was able to survive an early onslaught from Ortiz and still ended up getting ko'd midway through the fight. Have a hard time seeing Scott being able to make it 12rds and win on the cards as well, Ortiz just such a skilled and dangerous fighter, Malik probably gonna have to fight a perfect fight to get it done.

i think scott probably took a dive for some nice $$$ against his friend deontay.

when thompson dropped him it looked like the punch landed in the perfect spot (right to the temple) which will blow anyone's equillibrium. i don't remember him being in bad trouble other than that (the chisora stoppage was very contraversial).

by the sounds of it, scott might have a decent chance if he makes it out the early rounds. i think that's definitely worth a flyer at +1200.

Frankie Gavin missed weight for his bout with Sam Eggington on Sky Sports 2 tomorrow. It's nearly a pick 'em with Eggington still at slight + money everywhere.

It was the check weight he missed. Reckons he was unaware of the check weight rules. Really keen for some opinion on this one. Can see it being a case of will judges prefer gavin's low volume quality or eggingtons higher volume pressure

Yafai r1 +500 pp +300 ladbrokes. Yafai has beaten 4 journeymen in his last 5 fights all inside a round and going by records this one looks the worst of the bunch. He was stopped in r1 and r2 in two fights less than a year ago. Only concern is Yafai is due a world title fight soon and theres a youtube vid where he says he wants to get some rounds under his belt. On twitter someone tweeted 'first round bodyshot ko' and he tweeted back 'no i want some rounds' but with a winking emoji. He has taken this fight on a weeks notice as his bro pulled out injured so im confident he will want this over as quick as poss as he wasnt scheduled to have a warm up fight before his world title fight. Think hes taken this as his bro sold a lot of tickets so wants to give friends and family a show. R2 also worth a bet / hedge imo.

Yafai r1 £90 +500

Yafai r1 £30 +300 (did this before i saw +500)

Will prob hedge with r2

Hard to bet against Luis Ortiz. Malik Scott hasn't shown the heart to turn the tide on such a strong front-runner. Basically quit against Chisora and Wilder. Don't think Scott will fancy it when Ortiz tags him.

Gonna see how first few rounds go in ogogo fight. Will prob take unan dec pre fight but small @ +300. His dec line is +187 but i cant see ogogo not winning easy even if it goes 12. Itd is prob the smart play.

Ive got a +200 parlay that had yamauchi to win last night and gavin on points. Nothing else from me until the fight starts. I think its gonna be close and hopefully i can get a good line and make a more informed decision a few rounds in.

Don't have access to round 1 or 2 props for this fight unfortunately, but going to bet the under based on what Sham wrote above:

Khalid Yafai/Johnson Tellez Under 3½ (-185) $92.50 for $50.00
