Bellew dec chaps most likely outcome?

Campbell to stop matthews? Been ko'd 7 times but not for 4 years and took flannagan to dec.

No ufc for 4 weeks so boxing it is

I won money on Tony Bellew as a slight underdog vs Makabu- or maybe it was the under that cashed, I can't recall. But anyway, does he deserve to be a-1375 favorite to BJ Flores with a +900 comeback on the American?

I dont know anything about bj but should bellew be that big a fav over anyone?

edit: Also, fight's not on for another couple weeks but BJ Flores at +1000 against Bellew seems way out of whack to me. I'm not a Flores fan, I think he's always been a bit overrated as a fighter and never really liked him personally either. But he's still a pretty good fighter and Bellew shouldn't be a 15-1 favorite over anybody who's a good fighter. His win over Makabu was very impressive but I think his stock is getting too high as a result. Bellew is a good fighter but he shouldn't this big of a favorite here.Probably went a bit too big on it but in for 1.5u on Flores here, hoping to hit a nice payday on a big dog.

posted this a couple weeks back here, this is my take on it if anyone's interested. Got Flores at +1000. Really like the value there. Sure Flores is a rightful dog here but he's much too capable of a fighter to be 10-1 against a good but not great fighter in Bellew. Would also take the +900 as well, obviously.

Yeah, that's a really wide line. I'll bite for 1.25 units.

BJ Flores (+900) vs Tony Bellew $125.00 for $1,125.00

Egads, should have watched this press conference clip first before betting. If the fight was decided on the war of words and body language Bellew is KOing Flores cold in round 1!

Taking Ahmet Patterson next weekend. He's +190 at the moment and I've got him at +250 and +220 from the beginning of September.

Flores doesn't really have much power. Hard to see him outpointing Bellew in Liverpool either.

Ward decision is +130 and his ML is sitting at -135. Does anyone see a realistic chance that he stops Kovalev?

Would take Ward dec there. In Europe it's ml -125, dec +120. Kovalev has a good chin and Andre has only stopped Paul Smith at light-heavyweight and that was R9 when his corner threw the towel, a guy who George Groves took out in 2 rounds.

Props starting to be released for this weekends card in Liverpool.

BJ has never been stopped. Bellew decision is +187 and unan dec +275. I like the look of both. Anyone have any info outside of boxrec capping?

Bit torn on Campbell Matthews. Campbell itd is -137 while Campbell dec sits at +200 and unan dec +300. Matthews has been stopped 7 times but he seems to have improved as a boxer. He hasn't been stopped in 12 fights over four years, and he took Flannagan the distance in his last fight.

Defo taking Bellew dec lines, keen for some input on Campbell Matthews tho.

I'm with you on those UD props. If anything I prefer the Campbell one, I'd be surprised if his power troubles Mathews other than by accumulation and Mathews won't want to quit at home in Liverpool.

Obviously Bellew is at cruiser where KOs are more common. Can't say I have followed Flores' career but going 12 with Ding-A-Ling Man Wilson and Danny Green suggests he has at least a respectable chin. Would question his heart more, he's had a weird career, never really committing to the sport properly so how much does he want it? He kept going against Shumenov but Shumenov wasn't a puncher at light-heavy let alone cruiser. Bellew showed good power in his last fight but Makabu is known as a slow starter so maybe he just caught him cold.

Both Bellew and Campbell have laboured to 12 round decisions before without really seeking out the KO which is a positive sign and Bellew will tire in the later rounds.

With a lot of rumours the fight is confirmed. 365 has Joshua at -150 at Klitschko at +120. Surely the price on Wlad isn't gonna get any better than that?! Surprised he's a dog now.

I guess take Wlad and hedge of a bit with Joshua by KO or Joshua in the early rounds.

Would definitely be on Wlad at anything +100 or better. Maybe hedge Joshua inside 3 rounds if you get a decent price on that. So much more experience. Given Dillian Whyte (who Dave Allen went the 10 round distance with) shook Joshua, if Wlad lands it's lights out.

I could be way off here but I really think Flores can give Bellew a hell of a fight and pull off the upset here. Think that line's way too wide, I think he's got more pop than his record indicates too. Bellew rightful favorite but Flores is far from a can, he can put up a good fight and get the W even on Bellew's turf imo. And this is coming from a guy who's never really liked BJ, I just think there's a lot of value on him here.

Really don't know what to think of Wlad/Joshua. How much does Wlad have left, can Joshua handle a huge step up in comp? Really tough one to cap for me atm. Gonna have to break that one down a bit more. My gut says Joshua at like +150 or better seems like there could be good value there.
