williams does not strike me as a fighter hwo will see many decisions.. he is a kill of be killed type of fighter so i can kinda understand the odds but still +500 is tempting :)
 
I feel like either Stevenson gets complacent and stays in the pocket too long, or Adonis takes his head off from the outside at some point. I gotta admit he showed a solid chin against Rodriguez, but they where slinging leather in the pocket. Stevenson barely needs to plant his feet to drop bombing left straights on you from the outside. If Stevenson is smart, he does just that. Jr is not good at range.

1u Adonis-Williams fight won't start rd7 -119.

In for 1u on LSC itd +213 for tomorrow, think there's a good chance his volume and bodywork can get him a stoppage. Leo much bigger. Will also be on pts handicap if they give it to us at a decent number/price.

Oh also took Campbell-Mendez ends itd the other day at -130 but not super confident in that one. Mendez is decent but I worry about his chin issues, think Campbell can get him out of there. Also Mendez has more power than his record indicates, maybe he can land something big as well although I doubt it.

He was knocked cold by Rances Barthelemy in the middle of an exchange but it was a little bit after the bell so it only shows up as a nc on his record. I've seen a lot of Mendez and he's got a lot of athleticism and overall natural talent but he just seems to be missing something that really would propel him to be a top fighter. I don't think he responds well to getting hit in general and he also tends get pushed up against the ropes and play the shoulder roll game (which he's actually pretty good at) but is always risky if you're doing it against good offensive fighters and your names not Floyd or Toney.

Like i said not a strong lean or anything on that play for me, I say go with your gut, I don't want to sway you off of a lean That's a nice prop there especially considering that if this goes the distance I definitely think Luke will win a ud, especially with the fight being on his turf. Also Mendez tends not to throw a whole lot of punches when he gets into countering mode so it'll be hard for him to win rds if he starts doing that.
 
My bad just wanted to clarify something in my last post, I just rewatched the Mendez/Barthelemy ko and he wasn't in an exchange, he was covering up and the punch came a bit later after the bell than I initially remembered. He was also dropped prior to the ko so he was hurt pretty bad beforehand. Not saying that this has any effect on anything but just wanted to correct myself since my recollection was a bit off.

hope we see that same outcome as williams last fight.. just pure slugfest and williams landing the big one :D
 
So excited for this fight, win or lose. I would be shocked if Williams doesn't come out guns blazing and make this a great fight with a ton of violence. That's his best shot to catch Adonis cold early before he warms up but then again we're all fight fans and we've seen fighters do some dumb shit trying overthink things. Williams doesn't seem like he gives a fuck but that's my only worry that would make this fight not exciting by trying to box or some shit which he would almost assuredly would lose and make it boring. otherwise somebody's getting crushed. Can't WAIt!

Yeah disappointed in the outcome but can't be surprised with it. Like you said Wack3d Adonis showed a hell of a chin, he was taking shots I didn't think he could take coming into this fight. Still not really angry about the Williams bet, the guy's crazy and went out on his shield. Showed a lot of heart and landed some really nice shots of his own. Fun fight as expected. Ended up small on the day .5 unit, thanks to the fight wont start rd7 prop but was really hoping for the upset. Not a bad night overall considering the action, nothing better than a back an forth brutal boxing fight, imo. GL tomorrow boys.

Yeah lost 25 in a Williams flyer but could have been lucky.
