Do you know some top list boxers with the most losses or boxers with more than 100 losses?
I find few:
Peter Buckley 256 losses (only 10 ko's)
Reggie Strickland 276 losses
Csaba Olah in on 91 losses

Reggie does have 66 wins. Plus, with his 276 losses, he has only been KOed/TKOed 25 times.

It takes skills to have 66 wins and it takes skills to protect yourself while being overmatched (and making it to the final bell) 251 times

They find that getting KOed is very orgasmic so they can't stop doing it.

.......Have chosen the wrong proffesion!

don't be a dick all your life

you do realize that a guy like Buckley fought nearly 300 times in 20 years, and didn't take a lot of damage in most of his fights and was probably paid a decent amount for being a last minute fighter who would show up and who wasn't suspended due to him hardly ever being knocked out

he earnt a good living from boxing i would imagine

A boxer/promoter from downpatrick, northern ireland called Marty Kayes is aiming for 300 pro fights, think he's on ~260 in his late 30s. I'm sure he's got over 100 losses but it makes no difference to him, he travels the UK having good craic, has fought many guys on the way to the top and I don't think (?) he's ever been stopped.

He's famous for antics such as back-heeling the opposing fighters corner men in the face if they get too close to ring side and lots of other little things like that.

Boxrec got him at only 21 fights

Wow they are making a movie about Buckley. Image what that guys brain looks like after 20 years of sparring, 300 boxing matches and over 200 losses. Wouldnt be surprised if he was worse than Benoit.

Boxrec probably doesn't follow regional pro fights as closely. Not even sure how a fight gets put on there, if it's self submitted pending approval from the site etc

Regardless, I've known him for years and it's all true mayne.

Sinister told a story about how Reggie was in a fight and there was a dispute about purses and how Reggie during the fight yelled to one of the promoters about how he was going to beat the prospect that they had in there with him if they wouldn't pay him the money they promised.
Supposedly read you would've easily been able to beat the guy

This is one of the great things with MMA ... now there is a sport for people who aren't all that athletically gifted that they can compete in now.

You probably won't see a Reggie or Peter Buckley anymore in boxing now that there is a sporting venue that doesn't require much strength, athleticism, intelligence, wealth, hygiene.

I mean why dedicate years of your life to learning the art of boxing when now you can make between 25 and $75 per fight in a sport that is essentially bar room brawls with no shoes on.

I remember a story told where Reggie was brought in to be an opponent to an undefeated guy. The "prospect" was a jerk, so Reggie showcased his skills that night an KOed the guy rather easily.

Sorry for being so vague, but I find it plausible since he clearly has to have decent skills to have over 300 fights and still be healthy.

Didn't HBO Real-time with Bryant Gumble do a piece on him?

Johnny Greaves (4 wins - 96 losses)
