Cyborg failed to truly dominate an aging holly holm even with a natural weight advantage. She didnt show me any reason why she would blow through gals like Nunes or Shevchenko in any way beside her size.

Khabib dominated Barboza but failed to finish him. He looked open to counters and i dont know if Tony Ferguson or conor will pass up the counter opportunities that Barboza did.

Interesting tbh and both fighters looked decent but IMO both failed to live up to expectations.

Khabib wins 30-25, 30-25, and 30-24 against one of the top lightweights in the world and doesn't live up to your expectations ?

Well in truth every fighter is beatable, there is no one in UFC that is unbeatable, fight long enough and they will all be beat eventually.

Khabib and Cyborg looked very good, but the people you mention like Nunes and Conor and Shevcheko and Tony are beatable themselves so I don't really get what you're getting at.
 
Khabib definitely has holes in his stand up game, that's easy to tell.
 
1st of all, Everyone is beatable.

Secondly, Khabib and Cyborg looked incredible and dominant, but Barboza and Holm are tough fighters.

You're undervaluing them a little. Cyborg showed that she can outpoint a very technical striker, avoid being wild and reckless, and also go the full five rounds without fading. If anything, she got stronger towards the end. She doesn't have to knock anyone out if she can win 5 rounds convincingly.
Nunes has cardio problems, and Shevchenko, sorry, wtf are you even mentioning her for? Cyborg with one arm can beat her.

Khabib's wild rushing in sure leaves him open for good technical (counter-)strikers, but yeah, let's be real - he'll still grapplerape everyone at 155.

It is more of a case of people (possibly might even be the fighters themselves) vastly underestimating Holms and Barboza imo.

Exactly. TS is just waiting for Khabib and Cyborg to lose to call them overrated and "never that good".

sounds like just another conor fan boy saying khabib not worthy of a title shot.
 
Cyborg looked good but beatable.

Khabib IS beatable (because he's human) but looked the closest to unbeatable of any LW in recent memory...

Edson was never a title threat. Khabib didnt finish him and should have. The shit about him not finishing on purpose is bullshit. Barboza shat the bed. He couldve tried to counter khabib but didnt
 
i can't even disagree.
both showed they aren't impervious to being hit but khabib especially. his lack of care to defend himself and routine of just walking through the strikes immediately showed us that he is susceptible to a well placed ko punch.
cyborg is a little harder to criticize as she handily won against holly but one could argue that she was taken to 5 rounds and as we've seen previously, leaving the result in the judges hands in this sport is a dicey situation at times.
 
Khabib met and exceeded any expectations that were set for him.
