He goes down a few times when he doesn't need to because he knows these guys are afraid to go on the ground with him. That's why every time he gets "dropped" so many times, and he immediately goes into guard. It's actually what elite BJJ guys like Maia did as well to bait people. Tired of shertards after every fight Oli does this saying he almost got finished.

Losing your balance is pretty common for getting rocked. Getting knocked down during fights happens a lot. You must not only not get punched a lot, (despite the jarring amount of brain damage on display) but not ever even watched people get punched that much.

You must be a pretty casual fan, bud. Like I said before, watch more, you might learn something.

I mean I think the truth is part way between, he did take significant punishment in these fights and was hurt but I wouldnt say he was "closed to finished" in them and as you say I think does tend to drop to guide in classic Nog fashion.

I think he fought the fight he needed to fight as well, Gaethje wanted a long slow kickboxing match and he didnt give him what he wanted.
