One of the title boxing series videos talks about working a corner and includes some stuff on dealing with cuts.
I'm very interested in finding out if there are any resources available. I want to get into training as I get older and I think being able to work corners is a must

You'd be much better served reading something like "Corner Men" by Ronald Fried. It's not an instruction manual, but it has the maxims of great trainers/cutmen.
