I'm so embarrassed. Not only do I remember this but I took it, at the time, as evidence of supreme mental focus that he COULD push so hard on his own foot that pieces of him start falling off.

I didn't consider that pieces might have been brittle from drug use.

Nothing else but a bandage after. I don't believe Jones took drugs until his prep for the OSP fight where he was strictly gaining.
