Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT)
There shouldn't be any downtime, as it's just a maintenance release. More info here
Even if he truly believes his opponent's competition sucks, wouldn't it be better for him not to say it, because now if he beats Gane, he beats someone who had bad competition, so his win looks less impressive
Imo, Jones raises more questions than Gane at the moment:
-Long layoff, ring rust. Will he find his pace and his timing?
-Questionable performances in his last few fights. Was he starting to slow down as an athlete?
-New at HW with the extra weight/fat. Will it affect his speed and cardio? Certainly won't help
-Had more trouble in the past against tall opponents with good reach. How will he deal with Gane's size and athleticism? At LHW he was very often advantaged by his size/reach. Not in that fight.
-Not getting any younger. His way of life probably took its toll too.
Hes not wrong about the wrestling. Gane is one of the worst wrestlers in the division. Gane's TDs are shite. He has a 20% accuracy. Couldn't get Lewis, Boser or Volkov down who all have horrendous TDD and have been wrestlefucked into oblivion many times. Went 2/14 on TDs against a kickboxer in Rozenstruik and couldn't even control him as Jairzinho got back up immediately from both TDs. The only fight where Gane's grappling and TDs looked good was against Don'Tale Mayes lmaoooo.
Francis with a torn MCL and partially torn ACL BULLIED Gane in wrestling and looked like Gable Steveson lmaoooo.
Must be the idiotic p4p concept that makes people ignore weight classes and thus compare fighters based on skill alone. Silly stuff and Jones should know better.
