TS, This is such a non-issue tbh... 205 isn't really the weight class to watch this year... JJ vs Rumble yes but then it's time for JJ to move up or rematch the entire top 5 list until a new contender emerges.

I dont know why "fans" are downgrading D.C so much.
He is one of the best ever in HW and LHW peroid.
He took Jones on a trip in 5 rounds, of course he lost but not badly.Then he beat Johnson and freaking Gustafsson in spectacular fashion.
Will be hard night for Jones.

Jones doesn't really smash anyone, he kicks their knees and pokes their eyes but he's no vintage Chuck or Wanderlei.

I feel an upset coming which would be crazy seeing how much of a physical advantage Jones has over DC and the rest of the division. He has a 12 inch reach advantage over him lol its ridiculous.
Several things make me think this:
1. Upstets are in the air, all of the ufcs biggest stars have crashed and burned in big upsets and Jones is the only one left.
2. Jones coming off a year layoff
3. Jones packing on a lot of muscle/messing with the recipe that made him successful. Could be another case of getting greedy and wanting even more than the perfection you had thus far. Jones could be another Icarus.
4. DC having the experience of two wars against the elite of the division and coming out on top. 1 of them being someone Jones never faced. Also showing improved cardio.
5. DC has Cain in camp
6. DC has GIANT elite kickboxers in camp
7. Jones seems way overconfident

I think too many people are falling for this UFC hype around ''Jones is starting to take his training seriously now' bullshit. He's always taken his training seriously IMO.
I can't imagine JW tolerating a half assed fighter in their gym and if he has got to this level without training properly then he was probably on PED's earlier in his career.
I can see this fight being at least as competitive as the last one although I can't see how Cormier wins.
