Bones gets a slap on the wrist...

Jones is loved citizen by the law :D

Did you even look at the charges?

Big fucking deal

That seems fair.

If he only had traffic citations, yes. But since he was on probation with other charges, the judge indicated that he is not to get any other violations of any sort or he'd be in huge trouble. The judges here just don't ever really follow through on their threats. This guy is dodging bullets left and right. Not mad at him. I'd want to same luck in his position :)

It's a traffic violation, man. They wouldn't throw you in prison for it either.

I am not holding my breath for Jones/DC 2 happening @ 197. I have a feeling (hopefully not true) that someone pulls out for minor injury/legal interruption, and this fight gets moved to headline 200. This makes MM/Cejudo the headline fight for 197.

"The Albuquerque Journal reports that Jones received a 90-day deferral because he appeared in court with proof that he possessed the documents."

What's wrong with that? He proved he had the documents. I'm sure a lot of people on here old enough to drive have done it after forgetting their wallet before.

Not prison, but definitely jail. A violation of probation is a violation. This would've been one of them. The charges he had wouldn't have required him to show up with a lawyer, a suit, or even having to go to court. He could've shown that stuff at the window. He was threatened, and given a pass like he did with everything else. So yeah, definitely not prison, but others are put in jail every day for equal violations.

I would prefer Jones beating DC at UFC 197 and the defending the belt against Rumble at UFC 200

LOL, Bones broadsided a pregnant woman and broke her arm, fled the scene (but snuck back to grab some cash & RE-fled) and his sentence was to flap his gums to kids.

He ain't going to get prosecuted till he actually kills someone.

I mean what did you expect? He has all those things he just didn't have them on him. Same thing happened to me and I just had to show up and show my registration at court and they dismissed the ticket. That isn't out of the ordinary at all

Now THIS he should have gotten hammered for. But it's normal in America, the rich don't have to follow the same laws.

So what do you think usually happens when someone is pulled over and they left their license and POI at home? Jail?

Him being on probation was probably the only reason he even had to show up to court. I’ve had the same thing happen and it just took a phone call to clear up.

Cash and Cocaine

As long as he was licensed and shit at the time, I say no big deal. Now the felony hit and run was a big deal.

I'm surprised this isn't bigger news. Then again, the UFC probably paid all the relevant parties (judge included) to keep hush and make this whole thing disappear.

You want him to face a firing squad for driving without a license?

Now that Holly lost, Jones is the ABQ's only hope to have a champion for 2016.

You can bet that judge follows J/W on twitter!
