We're acting like people who've noticed that since he got busted for roiding, JJ isn't the same juice monster who crushed both DC & Gus in the 2 rematches.

The JJ who fought Reyes and Santos would be in trouble against top HWs.

The difference is mainly in the bone density, the muscle density, especially in the legs.

Frances Ngannou is a thicker dude, while Jon bones has bird legs and not much bone/muscle density.

It's not about the density, it's just about the size of the bones and thus the frame itself. (I guess you mean that though).

The greater the circumference of the bones, the more mass are you able to put on.

he is going to have to fight smart at heavy weight. depending on match ups.

stipe and overeem are both very well rounded i don't know what he is going to do there.

No one in this thread that posted before you has implied or said he hasn't. He hasn't fought at HW though and he's had much tougher fights with guys of similar size to himself.

Jones isnt going to look good with people bigger and taller than him. Weve seen how it looks at 205 with people that are close in size with him. His major advantage was his physical gifts. He wont have that anymore.

I think he'll have to change things up. Not everyone can, but Jones has always been a smart fighter. He's excelled at using every physical advantage he has, and we've seen how he can just chew guys up while keeping them at range and off balance. Maybe now he'll try to focus on being faster with better cardio and footwork.

True, but he may match up well against a lot of HW's because there isn't much in the way of grappling in HW (and they generally just aren't very good). Jones may well get smashed if he stands with Francis much, but I think he would try to take him down.
