The difference is mainly in the bone density, the muscle density, especially in the legs.

Frances Ngannou is a thicker dude, while Jon bones has bird legs and not much bone/muscle density.

Jon puts on some weight it's gonna look a lot closer than you think.. That and you have to remember even if Francis is the most powerful guy in the division Jon's still gonna have the experience and skill of how to win a decision over a guy like that. He could finish him somehow but I don't know how his power will translate at hw but just his fight IQ alone could get the "w" over Ngannou imo.

It's not that, the people just don't factor in the size/strength difference in heavyweight. Jones has struggled when people are closer to his size, so it's only logical to consider he will struggle even more with fighters bigger than him. The fights he dominates he has size advantage over his opponents. You can't compare his body of work vs smaller fighters and think it will equal to a similar scenario vs fighters his size and bigger.

People are properly analyzing the HW match ups. People using his success in LHW are the ones that are not properly analyzing the situation.

Yeah. Jones uses his legs and uses them quite well. He can connect hard to any part of the body with a variety of different kicks, and he'll easily be the best kicker in the UFC heavyweight division.

Ngannou may have a hard leg kick, but that's about it. If he starts a kick, you know what's coming, and when Jones knows what's coming, his opponent loses.
