For some reason I just noticed that first slip from Adesanya. Damn, that was nice.

It helps having a huge reach and being a lot longer and taller than the person your fighting too.
Which is why many think Adesanya. wont have that kind of success against a similarly sized fighter, ala Jones

Unlike Jones, Adesanya has a history of comfortably outstriking guys his size or larger in kickboxing.
 
He’s probably the closest to perfect striker I’ve ever seen.

People like to say skill, but here we saw two guys with shorter stature and short reach simply play a stupid game in Israel's speciality.
Israel can outhook most if not all MW inside that range and fighters are dumb to stay there.
 
Also, looking at them in motion, Israel does look very athletic and strong body wise compared to other fighters from looking at how their muscles ripple and work together, almost suspect so...

To be fair, that was a half hearted attempt, probably due to Costa already being rocked at that point.

An example Id like to use is Weidmans finish of Anderson Silva.

It’s all about timing, nothing else. Those are not Izzy’s most powerful shots.

I think he is better than Jones to be honest. Jones is just bigger and has better wrestling. If Izzy can keep it standing I see him winning. Izzy is just better than jones in boxing no doubt and in the kicking game it probably is a tie.
