Boetsch/Munoz who ya got?

Boetsch is dangerous no matter how bad he is getting it in a fight. One of those guys that can change the dynamic in one punch. I'd say Munoz has a better game, but not sure if he has the same durability.

Boetsch by KO. He'll stop munozs telegraphed doubles from far. Tim is also stronger in the clinch. And he has a wayyyyy better chin.

Boestch. The man's a decent boxer. Munoz just throws punches like a gorilla.

munoz big time

i hate ever saying X will be an "easy fight" for Y, it just has such a douchey, negative, connotative feel to it

but, i think it'll be an easy win for munoz

Really? In his last seven fights, he has had exactly one where he didn't experience some adversity (the Dollaway fight). Munoz rarely "easily" wins a fight. That's one of the reasons why everyone thought it was so ludicrous when he was ranked #3. He's like Shields. He has some good wins and a good record but he never really looks good.

Munoz was rocked by K-1 Maia.

How the fuck did he even get his #3 spot?

Who should have been 3.

Exactly. Timing. Only reason why he was #3. Because the middleweight was thin at the time. Now that middleweight has gotten stronger, it's apparent that he never was #3 and everyone sees that.

Your point being? The ranks are constantly changing all the time and are always dependent on timing.

Uh that he didn't deserve his ranking because at the time there was no one to actually fill it. If you've watched Munoz' fights, you'd know.

Boetsch by horrifically boring decision. I like him, but I don't want to see him fight silva.

The two of them are the most overrated fighters in the division. I have not been impressed with any of their performances. I can't believe they were once widely considered top ten fighters. MW is so weak.

Munoz seems to get staggered or dropped in all of his fights. The guy truly has a glass chin if there ever was one. Even Maia wobbled him.

Boetsch is so slow. Everything he throws is telegraphed.

I guess if I were a betting man I'd pick Boetsch to eventually land a hard shot and knock Munoz out. But I wouldn't be surprised if Munoz outwrestles Boetsch.

It's not a fight I care about.

I'm not sure you understand how rankings work. What do you mean "no one to actually fill it"? The rankings are filled by fighters with momentum possessed by recent wins over good competition. Just like Weidman is now the number one contender because "no one else is filling it." It doesn't discredit Weidman, it just means he has the most momentum at this time.

I'll say again, it is ALWAYS dependent on timing.
