Does anyone here have their nipples pierced that trains Muay Thai?? I want mine done and train and just needed to know if its safe to train just after getting them, and what the healing is like.

dude, i had my nipples pieced in the 90's. no one should be getting their nipples pierced anymore.

anyway, if you're going to do it you will need to take a break until they are fully healed. that way you can take them out when you train. it takes a while for them to fully heal.

Bad idea. High teeps, off-target solar plexus shots, clinches amongst others, they can all impact on a nipple piercing.
I had one, had it for so long I pretty much forgot about it ... got ripped out while sparring last week. And we weren't even "fight" sparring (i.e. fight kit, no shirts), this was while wearing a t-shirt.

Trained for a while with nothing happening to it but it is a risk and something can happen at any time without expecting it (like it did to me a week ago)

Train with an industrial, outside of clinching leave it in while sparring. Doesnt bother me when it gets smacked

You can tape over it with medical tape, protects it pretty well while healing but the odd knock will likely smart a bit. If ya really want it take a break. Heh.

there's a poster in the heavies and mayberry named "Adavis" ask him. he was a professional body piercer for a long time and is legit. so legit, he had to quit. (such levels of legitimacy have never been reached before.)

The thought of catching a teep to a freshly pierced nipple sounds terrible.

Just remove it for trainning.
If female post picture of the said jewelry just to be on the safe side of things.

Go with the Prince Albert instead.

Ow...... Why?!

I agree with Peter.

Like others have said, I don't think it's a great idea honestly. If you really REALLY want it done though wait until it's healed enough you can pull the piercing out or tape over it to try and protect it.
