I'm restarting Muy Thai/MMA sparring now, after a long time doing just grappling. I lost a lot of flexibility, striking speed and strengh, and I am completely wasted after training 2 days in a row. The same way that i was exhausted after rolling when I started to grapple, I am now exhausted after strinking. It's impressive how fast the body adapts to a new type of efforts, but also unadapts ! Be sure that I'll cross train, now, instead of doing just 1 thing. Has anyone a similar experience ?
