Yeah I mean he can only be paired with "superstars" money fight now but he get rekted by most of them. In the short term its a loss of revenue but in the grander scheme I think it does something good to the ufc by signaling something like "look mcgregor wasnt even that good the promotion is full of killers" and it get some casuals curious about mma as a whole. I know for me its been like that, when i started watching mma i only bothered to watch like 5 fighters but when they lost it made me realize the rabbit hole was deep

I don't watch media so he might be a good guy in real life but his taunting or brushing off strikes really annoys me. Seeing Barboza drop him got me thrilled and watching Poirier KO him was sweet.
