One of the better boxing announcers of my lifetime passed away earlier this week, on the 27th. Surprised I hadn't seen this posted here. He had a great vocal tone and his enthusiasm when he was announcing was infectious. He seemed to be a bit volatile of a guy, but from a fan's standpoint there are few others whose announcing I enjoyed more.
This video was posted in the article but I'm gonna embed it here. One of the best calls ever during one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.

This is sad. I always enjoyed his RBR commentary and he was very knowledgeable about the sport. RIP
