I'm sick......

Sick and tired of hearing the same shit about Bo. "Bo kneed his opponent in the balls", "Bo struggled to get the submission", "Bo cant throw a headkick"... really? So this what doing now? Submitting an opponent in under 3 minutes of the first round with no damage taken is not good enough? Yall need to realize that this man just had his 4th MMA bout.

As we all know, wrestlers dominate MMA and I can see Bo being the next DC in a few years time. The man is young, tight, and right. Stop complaining that he isnt fighting ranked opponents. Yall must be dumb af if you think he should be fed ranked opponents this early on in his career.

UFC 290. July 9th. Prepare to be amazed. Prepare to apologize.

Most fans love this prospect and can't wait to see what he does.

A few contrarian sherdoggers segue off that adoration and play devil's advocate and hate on the guy, because it's the internet and that's what people do.

Countering those few contrarians with "like OMG no one respects him!" is just....cheesy.

While we're on the topic of Bo, just thought I'd share this video of him and Gordon Ryan grappling competitively (just came across this myself a couple days ago):

Kind of grappling competitively, there was no guard pulling allowed and Gordon was not allowed to do leg locks, which is kind of his entire bread and butter where he's the best on the planet. But yea, kind of a competitive grappling match, just with rules to prevent Gordon from beating him in 30 seconds.

All I have said is beat some people before you talk shit.
Yeah I'm not saying he won't be good but the hype is a little out of control. Pickett is decent but the knee to the balls doesn't show me he can just take everyone down. Gore is questionably better than Pickett so this won't make me jump on the hype train either. Muniz was suppose to be the next champ then got a step on in Hall and looked meh then another set up and got choked out.

Whenever there is a prospect with a lot of hype, there will always be a lot of haters and detractors. Some people just have the attitude that a fighter needs to prove himself against high level competition before any hype is warranted, which is completely fair. It is what it is... the guy's only had 4 MMA fights, so he definitely shouldn't be fighting super high level competition yet. He clearly has a ton of potential but he's also a long way from being a finished product. I generally take the wait and see approach with guys like him, so far he's passed the tests and I'm interested to see how he continues to do as the competition continues to get stronger and stronger.

It think it’s just too early for most people. Need to see more before forming an opinion. Or if you can’t contain your excitement, you can pull a Rogan: “Welcome to the Nickal Era, ladies and gentlemen”.

He gets the proper amount of respect. He’s a heavily hyped “great American hope” fighter due to his wrestling career and MMA squash matches, which in turn also brings haters that balance things out.

Even “hater” is probably a strong word, since most people just want to see him win a few legit fights(without kneeing somebody in the balls).

Bo doesn't belong on the UFC 290 main card over Brady vs Jack Della, it's a joke. Bo also said to Ariel he might refuse to fight if they don't give him main card spots because he feels he's "a big deal". Also when he talks about fighting ranked guys and how he'd beat them, when they call him out he back pedals and says those fights don't make sense yet...then when media question him about it, he postures and says that he would fight them tomorrow lmao. I don't like the guys personality but he's a phenomenal prospect, will always tune in.

He gets exactly the respect he deserves...which isn't a whole lot, given that's he's had one whole fight in the UFC and isn't even ranked yet.
