Ronda could have succeeded as well if she focused on a more diverse grappling style. She worked on her "boxing", but that is not good enough and likely will never be good enough to beat Holly. I said this to the Ronda fans (I HATE her) after the loss when they were making up excuses, just imagine if Ronda had shot in for a takedown! Shooting in for a single or double-leg takedown every now and then would have been much more efficient against Holly. Holly Holm was great at keeping distance and lighting Ronda up whenever she came into "Judo range".

Also, this was the main factor I had to believe Miesha could pull it off. Didn't think she would win, but knew she COULD due to her diverse style.

Holly looked fair to mediocre in her other UFC fights, has one good fight against a clearly ill-prepared Ronda, and then is somehow invincible.

First the Sherdweebs said Holly had no chance against Ronda, then they said the opposite for a rematch, as well as that Meisha had no chance. I guess maybe you should be a little more careful about flying off the handle with sweeping conclusions, huh?

I've said all along there is a good chance Ronda would come back and beat her, making a totally different fight of it the second time. I also said Meisha had a good chance of winning.

It doesn't take a genius.

After watching the Jessica Eye fight, I didn't expect her to get knocked out I KNEW SHE WOULD. I am glad she proved me wrong.
