Bloodborne v2, The Hunt Begins

I know the ways to cheese him since he wont follow you out of the double doors but I'm trying to kill him on my own

currently using the threaded cane +7 and the pistol +6, I'm around level 70 just can't quite remember my exact level.

The threaded cane can out range his katana. Just be wary when he has his pistol out cause he'll parry your ass. But if he's two handing, go ham with the cane by fighting on the outside.

If you play super cautiously and can't parry most of his attacks, you can just wait to parry his charged attack.

The shield will GREATLY reduce the damage from his gun if you're having trouble with it.

You can also try to bait his 3,4 hit combo and attack at the end of it pretty reliably as long as he's not using the hunter's old bone.

EDIT: And if you're fighting legit, its still ok to just back off and let him drain his own health while he's in his transformed mode. I'm pretty sure that was on purpose for this battle's design. Just don't get him stuck in it. Also remember you don't have to do this fight right now, you can level up/upgrade your weapons and come back later.

I've fucked up Eileen's quest on both my play throughs. First I just missed her at the Chapel and she became hostile later. Second one her and the Hunter in Oedon's Tomb killed one another at the same time.

In 2 of my playthroughs henryk has killed Eileen in the gascoigne boss area..
Even though I stepped in and attacked Henryk .

I think I got lucky with that fight. I didn't know that she joined the fight so I just ran down and went right at Henryk because I thought it was a 1 v 1 battle. I had him down to about 25% health by the time Eileen showed up and we easily destroyed him without her getting hurt.

I think in most playthroughs she is there longer and has a high risk of getting killed (both by Henryk and the player if you hit her accidentally).

Just beat the game, got sidetracked with chalice dungeons, I guess I got the true ending? I used all three umbilical cords and fought the moon's presence.

I knew I should have killed that doll....

Also, if anyone wants a chalice dungeon with a Lost Ludwigs Holy Blade I have a code for one.

Henryk hits just as hard as his partner Gascoigne. Having them as double fight would be a very high difficulty level .

Any scenarios with two active hunters is intense. The last situation I faced like that was the two hunters in the Nightmare Frontier. I killed them on the first try but it was intense.

Speaking of the Nightmare Frontier...fuck that place.

They arent so bad if you are powered up. You need about 1000 HP to go in there..

The graphics are stunning ,but the layout is poor.

I shot the doll with the cannon. She respawns.

One thing I noticed in the numerous attempts (think 8 trys last night) was that once he hit around 25% health he stopped going two handed with his weapon and would spam numbing mists/gun shots. He's always an easy fight for me till this change happens, then it becomes a struggle to damage him and usually leads to me getting countered. I think I need to work on my patience once I get him low and just try to bait his charge attack.

Starting a new playthrough and this happened:

This dog just wouldn't die.

Also in this playthrough, the old man went to the clinic instead of going to the church ward like I told him and Eileen hasn't appeared anywhere she should be. Pretty frustrating tbh.

Lol, he doesn't trust Hunters and he goes to the opposite place you tell him.

Eileen is there, I'm sure you're missing something to trigger her or you already missed her. I thought all I had to do was open one gate when it was in fact, two. She was right there waiting for me by the Chapel.

That dog glitch is pretty funny though.

I've seen Eileen before in previous play throughs, she's nowhere to be found this time though.

It's probably since I did a sequence break that involved jumping the fence near the clinic, then going straight through the Forgotten woods and entering the Shadow of Yharnam fight. They killed me so I decided to go through the game properly, I think thats also what caused the old man in the window and dog to glitch out.

Got some nice loot for the first few bosses though.

I've been getting wrecked by amygdala for a while now. So hard to attack without getting hit. Just can't seem to figure out how to avoid all its attacks.

I think the game needs the depth of some extra area's. Hopefully a DLC will deliver whats needed. At the moment it doesnt even feel as big as demons souls .
