PlayStation Bloodborne Megathread, v.4

Aren't the Bloody Crow and Eileen different people or am i missing something?

Bloody crow is who kills Eileen and leaves her on the steps outside the cathedral. He's a dick with that repeating pistol.

She survives if you complete the quest line. But yes, complete dick and one of the most annoying enemies in the game.

??

Thought she slipped away when you talk to her after killing him.

Have I never completed the questline??

She thanks you for saving her and gives you the badge. When you come back she’s gone.

I got the impression from her dialogue after killing the Bloody Crow that she was dying. I hope she made it, though.

Cleared all but Gehrman and Moon Presence from the base game. Just beat Ebrietas who gave me a rough time in our first fight. Her cosmic shit wasn't even the problem as i out ran it when i saw it coming. Her damn charge is what kept catching me even though i seemed clear of it.

After squashing and comboing me i returned with that look in my eye and diced her in half the time the first fight lasted. The Chikage's blood attacks to her head were devastating.

Before i enter the DLC i'm gonna get all my stuff ready. I've still got a few Chalice Dungeons that need completing and i want the best gems so i can dish out booty slaps to Ludwig, Orphan etc

Need to do another Bloodborne playthrough; can't decide on a build, though.

Kind of wanted to give the threaded cane a try, but I really want to give the Kirkhammer a shot, too. Decisions, ugh.

Serve Annalise and do a Cainhurst cosplay. Kirk is very cool but it's one such hunter tool that you will either be hurting for DPS or then having to compensate for punishable wind-ups on ATK. Do you but just want to throw that out there; you'll likely at outset be pumped (rightly so) but shortly start eyeing your inventory for plans B, C because certain mobs or walkways prove clumsily-going when Kirk wielding.

Goddamn i just felled the Bloodletting Beast. Some of these boss battles take it to the next level in terms of awesome.

It was almost cinematic at times with him seemingly getting pissed off and randomly back handing and destroying a pillar at one point. I did get reduced to a sliver of health half way through the fight after being combo'd by his fuck you punches and GnP but managed to somehow recover. I was slapped silly to begin with but eventually found my timing a bit better and turned the tide of battle with a cheeky evade between his legs, appearing the other side and delivering an almost career ending booty slap.

Feeling the satisfaction of overcoming these odds helps me understand why this is such a highly regarded game.

Great play by play.

This was one of my favorite fights in the game. I remember thinking he was kinda cute when he first comes walking up to you. Looks like a vagina with legs.

Its a weird game. Its more about positioning w attacks and strategy than reflexes. I couldnt really get into it even tho its like one of highest ranked ps4 games of all time. Some ppl rlly love it.

Idk maybe I should try again.

Twas $20 and I am stuck at home from oral surgery.

Ok, what the fuck. I know its supposed to be hard, but hard to me isnt being required to do shit ive already done. Thats called annoying.

That said, I am at the beginning. Found my shitty weapons in the hunters dream, killed the wolf, now I am in a city of some sorts.

On my first couple playthroughs, I didnt know the controls, let alone know what the hell you press to gain health back. I also didnt know I would run out of bullets. This is where a tutorial or instruction manual can come in handy.

Now, I know some of the controls, know what fills up health, and know where to get bullets. But now, I am out of BOTH! I keep killing he same scarecrow looking motherfuckers, just to slip up, get hit, then have to do the god damn thing over again.

Is there a block button? A quick turn?

I see all these assholes gather around a lit up tree, so I thought, Ill sneak up to the top and toss a molotov. Nope, they see me before I get into position, then its rinse, repeat.

Is there a way to bypass these guys?

This game has got some fun potential, I can feel it, but doing shit repeatedly, when ive already done them is WORK. I earned what to see next, so let me in.

I suck

I can’t endorse this post as Eileen and I go way back. I try to do her quest line every play through lol.
My first playthrough she got shanked by Henryk and I had no idea she was supposed to win. I got her badge way early but I had a weird feeling about it, looked it up, and found that she was supposed to live. I actually started over, and back in 2015 that was a huge deal for me because it meant I'd have to fight Gascoigne again which is a bunch of "FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU"

I don't want to spoil anything but just curious... have you gotten into Hunters DLC yet? And if so, how far?
