BLM protestors struck by car during freeway protest in Seattle

Thanks for showing your racist colors. <3>

How is he racist ? He’s 100 percent right

look at the front portion of the thread prior to the information being released if you need any evidence

He was already being accused of fleeing the scene and we were told there was no way it could of been
An accident

This goes to show how risky some of the behavior we’ve been seeing is

I saw some idiots lay on the floor on a freeway in la with no blockades - they were Simply relying on traffic seeing them and stopping
probably hopped up on Mt Dew and watching The Program on the VHS.

1. Taze/attack police officers
2. Harass gun owners
3. Attend protests during a pandemic
4. Play in traffic

I'm starting to think BLM is some new Jim Jones-style death cult.
I'm starting to think you're some old troll.

It's dumb enough standing on the Freeway in broad daylight let alone around closing time when the drunks hit the road. Not excusing the driver but this could have easily been avoided.

Still watching MSNBC.

Do you watch the news?

If you do, what network?

I think it’s still on topic to say I’m going to get extremely drunk this New Years. This year can completely go screw itself.
I'm already drunk cause it's the 4th of July... woooot .. a way better holiday than new years. I'm hugging my flag. <{jackyeah}>

I think your other post on this was better. It is absolutely possible that the driver didn’t process everything in the short time he had, and didn’t see the pedestrians as a result. But that’s why his first reaction should have been to *slow down* so he didn’t have to (as you put it) Mission Impossible the blockage.

From watching the vid I see plenty of negligence, but no reason so assume any malice.
I don't assume malice. Maybe this guy was running from the police? Regardless he got to a roadblock and went around it instead of stopping. I don't believe he thought there were BLM protesters there he wanted to kill. He just decided he would go around the obstacle instead of stop but there were people on the other side he couldn't see. He's still responsible for not driving within his line of sight.

Absolutely. And in the story I mentioned part of her responsibility as a motorist is pulling off the side of the road. We're going off topic here, yet most of us seem to be in agreement in a few points -

Don't hang out in the middle of a highway.
Don't count on pacifism of the mob.
Don't take aim and try to run people over unprovoked.

In my mind your safety is your responsibility first and foremost, and that covers not putting yourself in dangerous situations needlessly. But then my "needless" is different than others, obviously.
*like*

Lol you can literally see the overpass in the video. It's obviously on a curve. Look for yourself.

Anyone who says that's not a curve is not worth listening to flat out

From overpass to overpass you can see all 5 lanes from any other lane. That's over 250m. Not a curve to speak of. The distance from the Denny Way overpass to the point of grass at the gore point where the white van was parked is over 150m. If you can't stop a car in 150m at 60mph (that's allowing plenty of reaction time), you shouldn't have a licence.

Could be. Looks like a pretty crappy place to hang out though. Day or night.
...the freeway I mean, not Seattle. I don't know anything about Seattle, other than that their sun looks broken.
All I know is Sleepless and Singles... {<shrug}

He had 5 seconds. He had to make a decision within the first 2. He probably thought he could avoid the cars since he probably could not have seen the people behind them. I doubt he was going 60.

I see you made no attempt to address the fact that he stopped and the mob tried to pull him out of his car. Noted.
