Thanks for the tag! I'm glad to see they're not trying to white people it up for PC/financial reasons.

Mostly curious to see how they'll shoehorn a couple of chinese characters into the movie, myself. My guess is they'll be foreign investors in Wakanda, there to build an offshore wind farm.

Awww man, a heated racist-y exchange and i missed it? What am i doing with my life?

Doubt it, it's not like Wakanda needs investors.

"If I made a movie called White Panther, they'd say I was being racist!"

It doesn't take much shoehorning. China is investing heavily in many African countries these days in exchange for access to natural resources.

Maybe it's art imitating life? Personally I'm more interested in how those characters tie into the wider Marvel universe.

Hey DLX, why do I get a notification saying g you "mentioned me in a post" when I don't get mentioned in the post?
It happened 2 or 3 times. Weird.

Used to confuse me too. He's tagging you to let you know about the thread.

On topic the cast for this looks really good now! I've been impressed in general with the casting in marvel movies, they get a lot of serious actors you wouldn't expect to see in a superhero movie.

Any word if Andy Serkis being attached has advanced beyond rumor.

I thought this was confirmed already? @Dragonlordxxxxx ?
It's not yet officially confirmed but there was a report from TheWrap back in Sept. 2016 mentioning that Serkis would be back as Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther. I don't doubt Serkis will be back, just a matter of time 'till we get an announcement.

First Set Photos from BLACK PANTHER; Martin Freeman Confirmed to Appear

It looks like Martin Freeman is officially going to be in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie. The 45-year-old actor was spotted on the set of the upcoming standalone movie on Saturday (January 21) in Atlanta, Ga.

Also spotted on set were Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong’o. They were reportedly filming a UN meeting scene on the rainy day. There have been rumors swirling for over half a year that Martin would appear in the film, though there has not been an official confirmation. Freeman previously appeared as Everett K. Ross, an ally to Black Panther, in the movie Captain America: Civil War.

Nice, I have a feeling I would really like this movie.. it's different and I like it.

I want to see more of that woman bodyguard the "king" had.. I felt some backstory there. :D

My inter monologue seeing that post title.

"Well of course Morgan Freeman will be in this, he's one of the most famous black actors on the planet"
Starts to scroll down
"Maybe he'll voice the Panther God or something"
Sees the picture of Martin
"OH, Martin! Huh...is Morgan Freeman in this?"

I have a feeling one-armed Bucky would be less useful than Hawkeye, especially since the arm he has left is a normal arm.

Bucky possess low-tier Enhanced(Superhuman)strength, speed, stamina, agility, durability and reflexes. He has decades of training and experience, from WWII Special Operations to carrying out Sanctions(assassinations)for the KGB/Hydra. He is an expert marksman with all types of firearms and an exceptional martial artist, both unarmed and using a knife.

In Winter Soldier, Bucky kills a SHIELD agent by kicking him through the air and straight into a jet's engines. Even with only one arm, he'd walk through Hawkeye.

lol.

Morgan Freeman is kind of tied up in the DC universe.

Seems most actors stay true to one side or the other until they change sides entirely.

^^^actually is my perception of the above true? Has there been any/many actors (leads) who have traversed both MCU and DC movies back and forth or do they tend to be 'with' the MCU or DC unless they change teams?
