One thing I'm not too fond of is T'Challa's vibranium suit. I don't like how bullets just bounce off of him like he's invulnerable. I get it that it makes sense he incorporates Vibranium to his suit, I just don't like the way it comes across. Why the need to jump around, evade and do some fancy martial arts when there's no danger involved. Basically he's like Luke Cage (boring) in the suit. I just wish they made the suit similar like Kevlar (but tougher) where the wearer still feels the brunt of the force of the impact.

Agreed. What is the upper limit of his suit's ability to absorb kenetic energy? Could he take a punch from the Hulk without serious damage? Because if so, the only way to hurt BP is through some kind of energy based attack; Widow's stingers had an effect on him in CW, although he was able to walk through them.

Man, I'm loving seeing people cry and whine about the success of Black Panther right now. Your tears are delicious.

Is it a perfect movie? No. Does Ryan Coogler and company deliver one of the best movies in the MCU???

I don't have a problem with people watching the movie and simply NOT liking it. I have a problem with people who doubt the success of this movie or don't like it without watching it.

- Ryan Coogler has another hit on his hands. I had a little doubt that he could handle a movie of this caliber, but he came through
- Ludwig Göransson (who is to Coogler was Hans Zimmer is to Chris Nolan) does another amazing job with composing the score. The Kendrick Lamar music gels together pretty well in parts of the movie.
- If you liked Chadwick Boseman in Capt America CW, you'll like him here
- Michael B. Jordan breaks the Marvel casting curse (getting re-casted in the Marvel Universe and killing it ala Chris Evans) He's a legit bad guy in this movie Coogler + Jordan = movie magic
- Wakanda is beautiful
- Shuri, BP's little sister, is a breakout star. The chemistry between her and T'Challa as bro and sis is believable
- The Dora Milaje, headed up by Danai Gurira is a beast!
- The politics are in the movie, but it's not forced on you. Also, for people crying about it being political, Captain America WS, the #1 Marvel movie for a lot of people, was in fact...political! The undertones were there!
- Andy Serkis is one of the most underrated, under-appreciated actors out there, and he deserves a lot of respect. His performance is so much fun.
- It has 2 post credit scenes of course

- The CGI does look a little off in some parts, I won't lie. Mainly in certain fight scenes. It's not the worst I've seen, but still kind of eh...

So with all that being said...

Well I would think it would perform similar to Cap's shield which is just thicker and more layered Vibranium. And we know Cap can be hurt holding the Shield by stuff like a hand held rocket launcher so I would think BP would struggle to take that hit directly. But I guess that answer would likely come down to 'depends on the writer' as so much does in the comic book world as Cap should have never been able to absorb this blow if prior blows have sent him careering off a bridge.

You take this shit way too personally lol

"This movie is only getting good reviews because it's got black people in it!!!!!"

"Have you seen the movie? Is it good?"

"....I haven't seen it.... but.... it's not as good as people are saying it is because.... black people.... and liberals and stuff.... then there's SJW's so....yeah. But no I haven't seen it."

The social conversation this movie has inspired before it's even fucking released is really eye-opening.

Caring this much about what other people say

Whats worse Marvel Fans or Marvel haters

What's the indication of how much someone cares? Is it how much they post? Because if it is, you apparently care more than anybody.

Going through a thread and quoting multiple posts of the same person when that person wasn't even talking to you in the first place

Kinda like what you just did when you quoted me

Youre just now figuring out people make ignorant judgments based on preconceived beliefs and biases?
Are you 7?

Shut up.

Say some shit like this to my face and see what happens.

Going through a thread and quoting multiple posts of the same person when that person wasn't even talking to you in the first place

....are you serious? Do you wanna go back a few posts, realize this started with YOU quoting me when I wasn't talking to you, then try again? Because all you really just explained is how we can tell you care.

Kinda like what you just did when you quoted me

Please do tell, why the hell did you think a post where I summarized the reactions of many people was directed at you? I mean you randomly quoted and replied to a post of mine that wasn't directed at you, so are you saying you just really care a lot? Or were you confused?

Work harder on the "I'm too cool to care" shtick, pro-tip: it doesn't involve telling people you don't care 40 times.

Shockingly I thought some people here were smart enough to become aware of their stupidity when it's pointed out.

Let's see where Ruthless goes from here and I'll know for sure.

An update on the title thread should be "Black Panther opens to $150 million dollars + " to trigger people even further

Oh my bad, I thought we were talking about Black Panther in here...

https://mypraiseatl.com/1645726/hav...istians-against-black-panther-facebook-group/

The groups mission statement is a little vague, but does start off with welcoming all fellow followers of the Lord, Our savior Jesus Christ!

But after is when it gets a bit confusing. The group mentions the people behind the movie being the “Liberal Mega Propaganda Machine,” and says the movie is racists because it promotes the Black Panther Party, a revolutionary socialist organization founded by Bobby Seale and Huey Newton.
