I've been doing BJJ for like six months, I feel that I'm ready for tournament competition, I don't think I'll win, but I'm at the point were I need to get a better idea of what I need to work on. So my question is, where can I find out when what tournaments are happening? Is there any website that has a complete listing of tournaments?

Also, what would you guys recommend I do in preparation for tournament?

Your instructor'll know when tournaments come around. Just train smart.

You're problably right, but I'd like to know if there is a web site with a comprehensive list of upcoming tournaments.

On the right hand side is a little box with upcoming tournaments link. Also check mma.tv under the events section - some tourneys like NAGA and GQ run a bjj division alongside. Onthemat.com also does an okay job of listing upcoming tourneys.

Most of those websites seem to have it covered. As said above, your instructor generally knows where they will be. Just every once in a while when you're talking to people at your gym bring it up...a lot of guys will know where they are since most guys are totally into jits.
