You're the man. This should be a good watch. I'm very curious about his take on Max's TDD off the cage.@GreatSaintGuillotine will be interested in this
As always he makes lots and lots of great points. Fishing for Guillotines has backfired on Khabib's opponents before so I personally don't think Max should try for it.
I think that level of strength and Khabib's constant mixing up of TDs, levels, and angles will be more than Max is used to.
He seems much more confident than in Max than most and I think he is exaggerating his chances a bit but still good info.
Yeah, fishing for front guillotine against someone like Khabib is way too big of a gamble imo. Max has to play it safe.Max usually goes for front guillotines and doesn't concede the takedown while going for them. He's not pulling guard to get the guillotines, but i agree he Probably shouldn't invest in that.
He's the Stephen Hawking of mma breakdowns.again the shitty robotic voice? so the poll he had was useless in the end.
My only concern is that Max gets taken to the cage a lot. He defends well but Lamas and Stephens aren't nearly as active in the clinch as Khabib.Great video. I think great lateral movement by Max can be the key to this fight. Remember that in Jeremy Stephens fight Max completely shut down Jeremy by lateral movement, scoring points and not engaging in any prolong exchanges.
If he can do the same against Khabib then he can definitely win a decision. Max also has great cardio so maybe if Khabib slows down there is a change. The biggest question is how big is Max's injury and did he train at all during this off time.

I think if he can avoid the clinch as much as possible he has a chance. However, with his kicks taken away (or limited due to the injury and TD threat) it will be hard to escape clinching and shooting range.
I won't pretend to be anything like as knowledgeable as BJJ Scout, but doesn't Khabib often use trips and throws as well as level changes for his takedowns? I think that might negate a lot of the things he mentioned Max does well against the cage.
I can't listen to the robo-voice. I hate those. But who is the person behind this analysis? It's somebody who knows what they are doing.
Lol!It's actually Edmond
To be fair its probably not unrelated to the fact that this fight was short notice and releasing it too close to the fight reduces the primary window of interest in the video.again the shitty robotic voice? so the poll he had was useless in the end.
