BJJ in Chicago!

For those interested, Fabio Prado (BJJ coach at Team Alpha Male) will be doing a nogi seminar on August 15th at Powersource MMA. He'll also be doing one at Counterstrike MMA in Downers Grove. Bjj seminars in Chicago,thought I'd share.
 
I posted it on the site, but not here, but Tom LeCuyer is having a seminar this Saturday as well!!

Is it just me or is the attendance for the Ibjjf Chicago low. What happen to all the Valko guys?

Can't speak for Valko or those guys but that competitor list isn't updated. The deadline is the 13th so there may be some people slacking that will sign up on the last day. I think part of it is also making sure you sign up for the right weight class.
 
I know for a fact that Allen Causevic (from valko) should be on there and I'm assuming other guys will as well. I believe that New Breed is sending a solid team as well.
 
We will probably be sending 4 or 5 guys. only one has signed up so far
 
I'll be at IBJJF Chicago and a few other guys from my team will be there as well.

as far as Jay's team, I just saw on his facebook that most haven't registered because the ibjjf haven't put his team name on the roster yet. he's hoping it'll be on by the 13th, but if its not, they'll all register under another name. they'll be there for sure though
 
I hear that. I can't wait to get there and actually enjoy watching for once. Wait, what am I talking about. I don't ever compete any more =o\
 
Also, big thanks to Steve (in case he's reading) for coming out and hanging out while Nick and I were advertising.

I just realized I forgot to say hi to Ramiro. Doh!!

haha next time we'll bring a bigger cooler!... no problem he was bouncing around all over the place and is easy to lose in crowds lol
