Bitcoin currency of the future?

You guys either have to know when to sell or have to play the waiting game. A very long waiting game. I predict that Litecoin will drop substantially, at least temporarily. Word is that people have been having trouble buying BTC, so they switched to LTC. People who are new to this game. The question is, when Coinbase gains its footing, would people drop LTC for BTC? On the Deep Web, I still don't see anyone accepting LTC.
 
And to whoever it was in this thread that told me to wait untill LTC drops below 100 again like 3 days ago, <3>
 
Eth taking off right now

Gotta wait like 5 days for a bunch of money to clear on my exchange before I can buy anything. Not the right time to buy anything anyway, but still I hate not being able to do anything
 
Damn I wish I didn't have the $750 limit on coinbase...I wanna buy more now and not wait 4-5 days for the bank transfer..

When I feel like I've made enough money this time around or the rate goes the other direction and I feel like it's not going to stop dropping. There's no real formula. I'm an impulse buyer/seller.
 
What about these other cryptos? Anyone HODL with altcoins?
 
im so fucking sick of coinbase and their constant bullshit.

just watched ltc dump to 350, perfect buying opportunity but "litecoin purchases are temporarily disabled" and it surges to 370 seconds later.

you have to consider a lot of the alt coins are purely speculative or redundant so keep that in mind for the long term. there are some bitcoin maximalists who only believe bitcoin will survive longterm along with possibly litecoin and maybe a privacy coin like monero or pivx.

i however, think there are some altcoin projects that are interesting and with ethereum may shift away from purely being currencies to incentive-driven technology. Sia, is a decentalized storage-based solution, Lampix, built on ethereum is a computer vision and learning ecosystem with pix tokens as incentives.

Those are just 2 examples, not that i recommend investing in them but always do your research and buy what you believe in. i mostly hold btc but have small amounts in other altcoins that interest me, ones whose technology seems interesting to me.

coinbase is overwhelmed right now, way in over their heads, staff is too small and ceo is clueless.

i can't wait until Square, who is currently testing bitcoin takes their place. A more experience CEO and better infrastructure

lol @ this insanity... a week ago if someone had said LTC would be $350 it'd hardly be believable... now it's a "perfect buying opportunity"

You guys don't even believe in your own shit... attempting to time the highs and lows. You'll only lose money that way (or I suppose potentially save your ass if you happen to be out when it crashes)

But if you believed in it, you'd buy, hold, and accumulate. If LTC has a 4k price target in your mind... why are you EVER selling?

You sell to attempt to compound your gains. 5 LTC => 5.1 LTC => 5.2 LTC and so on

I understand the reasoning behind it.

However, especially in something this volatile and with 24 hr activity, that's about as half baked as trying to win at roulette by doubling down every time you lose.

Anyway... give me your Dec 31 2018 Price Targets for BTC, ETH and LTC.

You're right... I panic sold yesterday morning @ 176 and my ego refused to let me buy back in at 200+.... I completely missed this massive gain in 24 hours with everything sitting in cash. I fucked up. Learning experience. Still in the green.

You're so excited and hopeful your not listening lol. Glad you're learning lessons now.

Now... given those price targets. If you TRULY believe that, you should be accumulating only. Every dip should be an opportunity to accumulate more.

Trust me this is going to crash with FURY... this growth isn't sustainable and the insanity will run out. When it does you're going to have to decide if you believe in it or not.

I'm not sure where this ends up long term... but at some point the prospect of cashing out is too great and people will begin taking profits.

For LTC... that's going to happen this week.

I repeat. LTC is crashing this week.
