Bitcoin currency of the future?

Probably too busy trying to find ways to raise more money to buy the dip. This is a golden opportunity, I wish I had money to invest right now.

I want to buy but my exchange has all funding options down for maintenance the fucks

Could you sell right now if you wanted to?

There's a lot of selling and buying going on right now. I just can't get new money into my account

tbf funding seems to have been under maintenance since before this crash. They're always fucking about with funding options

No idea what a muse programe is or why you would need it to send from an exchange to your wallet as you can do it directly with the exchance who charge a small commision? But to take your POWR out you need some etheruem on your wallet to pay the gas.

I couldn't remember offhand. Not Muse. It's called Meta Mask, something it made me download as a browser plug-in.

Hmmmm , phasing out cash , making tax evasion , money laundering ECT ECT much more problematic. I can't see any reason why a govt would be interested in that.

And you answered your own question as to why bitcoin will not be allowed to compete with the dollar. The tech is useful and will be appropriated , the individual /existing coins not so much , imo.

So you’re describing a government developing something that is in no way anything like a bitcoin, and has none of the features that encompass the reason crypto currency exists ... but think people will stop wanting these features and accept it as a replacement?

Sure they can strike down bitcoin, not saying it’ll survive, but it definitely will be replaced by something else as more and more people are becoming attracted to it’s perks and at some point down the line a democracy may have to accept them.

Bitcoin is taxable now , no ? Wasn't/ isn't the IRS collecting " information " on people holding bitcoin?

Look , the pie in the sky scenario where govt steps aside and looks the other way while people move large amounts of money around anonymously as they please would be great......I just don't see it happening. You can't even even buy a new car with good old fashioned cash at present without the gov't being notified.

Your access to crypto is only a free and private as your internet connection is

Oh ok, I haven't used it. So is it stored on Metamask or did you just use it to transfer the coins to MyEtherWallet? If its on my Metamask I'll have to do some research as to what the problem may be (if you are still having problems).

I agree to an extent, I'm just arguing it seems a growing population around the world is tired of the bullshit that goes with current currency systems and the government making up an e currency that still carries them over isn't going to stop the growing demand for change to something with some of the features to bitcoin. If the demand gets loud enough down the line the government might have to start listening.

I'll have to get back on in a bit. I honestly don't even fully understand what the hell Metamask does. I only know that when I was on the myetherwallet site and wanted to access my wallet, it told me I'd need to do so through a number of options, and I chose that one, which installed a plugin which requires a password itself in order to access and then send or receive.

What I didn't understand about this interface is that you have to Add Tokens manually... As if it doesn't know what anything is until you set that type of crypto into it, and then upon doing so, as a test I sent to my wallet address some POWR from my Binance account. It worked (at a horrible cost) but then once it's in there, I see only an option to send Ether out of my Ether Wallet, but don't see any ability to send out other forms of currency (such as Power Ledger).

This isn't a currency with this much speculation. It is just a speculative commodity. Imagine how quickly people would quit using dollars if the value could change 30%+/- in a week.

This is on top of the fact that any government or large corporation/s would not want it to succeed because it would be relinquishing control over currency.

If you log onto your wallet there will be an option to load (or show) more tokens on the side of the page. Then if you scroll down to POWR you should be able to load it and it will show you how many you have. To send them you just put the address in and chance the Eth button on the side of the 'amount to send' to POWR.

*Edit, probably easier to follow by video:

I'm not some obnoxious supporter, but do sell it short either.

Digital Gold or Silver isn't useless even if it's not used as a currency (it may be over time). It functions just fine as a deflationary store of value as well.

That doesn't mean it can't crash, fluctuate wildly etc.

Gold had a similar boom and crash in the late 70s, it accelerated from $100 to over $600 in little over a year. Then it crashed back to $300 and didn't return to that $600 level for over 25 years.

Now it's at $1300+.

At the end of the day, Gold is just a damn rock, you can find more of it, it's not easy to sell at exchange value and it functions terribly as a currency.

I feel the itch as well, but I was with a woman I don't know at all just last week so it may just be that.

bitconnect went to shit and now these youtubers like Crypto Chick and Crypto Nick are trying to save face. Actually Nick isn’t even trying, he’s just being the same shilling jackass he’s always been.

Serious question- where can yo spend bitcoin? Like, what do you buy with it?

Who uses gold as a currency? All major countries have fiat currencies. The u.s. dollar is stable because of government backing, not anything that physically backs it up.

They don't... so why is gold $1,330 an ounce?

Why is the market cap of gold 7.8 Trillion?

It's a fucking rock.
