So I have seen multiple people now try to argue that Bisping was wobbled in the fourth. I didn't remember this at all after watching it more than once so I went back and checked and sure enough he was not wobbled at all. Who is perpetuating this false information? In the last 20 seconds of round 4 Silva landed a few decent punches. The last one being the superman right at the end. Did they look like good shots? Yes? Did they look like they hurt? Yes. Did Bisping show signs of being wobbled or anything of that nature? No.

Just looking to get this straightened out, thanks.

He was never wobbled in the fourth. The only times it happened all fight was as follows:
R1: Anderson was rocked in the last 10 seconds
R2: Anderson was knocked down towards the end of the round
R3: Bisping was knocked down at the buzzer
R5: Bisping was rocked by the front kick

If he was knocked down it would mean something.

Wobbled doesn't mean shit.

Bisping outstruck Anderson by over 10 strikes in Round 4, clearly a Bisping round.

I had Bisping winning 1 and 4
I had Anderson winning 3 and 5
I had 2 equal.
I figured that Anderson did the most damage, and had the cleaner, harder shots along with controlling the center more.
Bisping was busier.
I gave it to Anderson, but can easily accept the decision.
Anderson let it slip away. Don't leave it to the judges.

you can't have equal rounds unless the ref deducts a point

I'm not a judge.

Near the end of round 4, Silva hit Bisping with a punch that either opened up a cut or caused some damage near his left eye. Bisping was clearly bothered by the strike and was touching that part of his face for the short remainder of the round.

Yes you can, though it is discouraged.

"The 10-Point Must System will be the standard system of scoring a bout. Under the 10-Point Must Scoring System, 10 points must be awarded to the winner of the round and nine points or less must be awarded to the loser, except for an even round, which is scored (10-10)."

"A round is to be scored as a 10-10 Round when both contestants appear to be fighting evenly and neither contestant shows superiority by even a close margin. This score should rarely be used."

What impressed me the most was that Bisping completely outboxed AS. If it wasn't for Bisping's self reffing the fight, he would have continued to box AS' ears off.

So the round where Bisping knocked Anderson down is the round where "both contestants appear to be fighting evenly and neither contestant shows superiority"

Yeah that definitely makes sense

Well, he wobbled his way to a decision so matters little now

Whats interesting is when you watch it the round looks even worse than just a 10 strike margin.

Yea because of how weak Adersons strikes were in that round most were little hits.

I think you're looking for Phronimos, who appeared to get rounds 2 and 4 mixed up in his post.
