He was also to beat the first to beat Anderson by decision while keeping it standing. Chael laid out the Anderson blueprint with wrestling which Weidman capitalized on but Bisping of all people was able to stand and trade with Anderson for 25 minutes and win.

Anderson still looked fast and dangerous but I think he lost a lot of aura tonight and no one should be afraid to stand with him anymore.

to be fair. i feel like if spidey took the entire fight serious it would have been much different. so he kinda deserved the loss. still very impressed with the count. much credit to his toughness and grit for sure

I'm just glad da silva didn't get ko'ed or brutally mma haped and was still able to mess up bisping's face after the career ending injury and being 40
 
Might be time to say Anderson* or "old Anderson" or 40 y/o Anderson

Let's not pretend that Bisping (barely) beat that same guy who demolished the MW division for years in his prime... He didn't.

Hey beating old Anderson is still the best thing Bisping did in his career and still an accomplishment- even if Bisping needs 40 stitches and got KOed , just not the same as beating him a few years ago.

Did you watch the whole card? There was terrible officiating and poor decisions all night. Breese, Pickett, and Bisping all got gift wrapped hometown decisions and the ref during the Grant/Vera fight literally stopped the fight when Vera rolled for a leg lock and let Grant get out of it just because he grabbed the glove. Piss poor officiating the whole event

I don't think he can fight seriously anymore... I think he just wants to play and have fun.

Think about it. ANYONE would know it makes sense to defend yourself, to put a hurt guy away, to NOT purposefully back up to the cage with your hands down and get punched in the face.... (Over and over again)

Silva refuses to fight the smart/common sense for any non retard strategy that probably would have lead to a win tonight via KO and MUCH less damage taken in his last 6 or so fights.

The only explanation is that it simply isn't just about winning and losing to him, he NEEDS to show off, either to prove something or to feed his ego or maybe just to have fun and get his rocks off....

Yeah on my big HD screen I even have an HD stream for you since you don't remember how much Bisping was bleeding and how badly damaged he was. PM me for the link since you must have been watching on a toaster
