"I wouldn't lower myself to a rematch with Dan Henderson because that guy is so washed up and so old and so decrepit - I think we'd have a hard time getting it licensed. That guys just so slow and I think he's had far too many blows to the head. I would love to get my revenge on Dan Henderson, but it just wouldn't be fair."

Old and unworthy last year, but now that he is even older things changed somehow:

One would assume getting the belt would finally give him that confidence boost, but after 10 years being the gatekeeper of the MW division, Bisping isn't confident enough to fight a top challenger for it now. He feels the weight of the belt, he knows the opposition is way too tough. that's why Bisping appears to never shut the fuck up, always gotten to (even Sam Alvey made him salty with his post fight speech), always trying to have the last word. Cause the last word is the only thing he has any confidence in having. The belt, he knows, will go away as soon as he fights someone worth it, not a "washed up, old and decrepit" challenger, in his own words.

Yeah but now that he's the champion out of all opponents hendo is the easiest for him so of course he wants it. He will probably get by Henderson but that's as far as it goes. The next guy he fights will beat him.

Henderson was losing back then, he just starched the poison dwarf on the same card as Bisping KO'd Luke..... maybe Dana asked him what he thought about that fight after the event? Situations change, maybe the fight with Henderson didnt make sense back then..... and he feels it does now. That in no way makes him hypocritical imo

All I meant is that if its offered to Bisping by the UFC and he accepts, does that mean he chose the fight? Or does it mean he just agreed to the fight?

well it obviously makes sense business wise or it wouldnt be getting made would it? maybe tell Jacare or Romero to market themselves better so that the champions can actually make some money fighting them, otherwise they will always be overlooked

This exactly. The hendo fight is the one I personally wanna see the most myself. Its still a hard fucking fight for bisping even now. He aint taking Hendo down. It just aint happening. So the fight will be on the feet where hendo still has all the power hes always had. Hendo is a bad match-up for him and its a rematch I have always wanted to see. Like Bis says those other guys aint going nowhere. If he dont fight hendo now he never gets another chance
