Bisping deserves respect.

Bisping deserves the win.

It could have been 1,2,3,4,5 for Bisp if Silva didnt sucker knee him in the third. Bisping was doing very well up until that knee. Awesome to see Bisp moving forward all the time

Sucker knee? Silva legitmitaley beat the shit out of Bisping that round and Bisping turned away when he got his mouthpiece knocked out as he always does when he is hurt. it wasn't a sucker knee it's just a bad habit of Bisping why should Anderson stop hitting him

Anybody who had it for Bisping needs to just quit watching MMA right now.

Bisping gets respect for making it out alive, nothing else.

There is absolutely no way Bisping won that fight, haven't been this disgusted by a Decision since Machida vs Shogun 1 and even that wasn't as disgusting as this.

I think you need to quit watching MMA if you were disgusted by the decision of today's main event. Seriously, dude.

So now this is a matter of volume rather than effectiveness?

Bisping did busy work with glorified paddy-cakes, Anderson performed surgery on Bispings face.

There's nothing to argue here, Bisping won some meaningless scorecards in his back yard. Anderson won the fight.

I'm not sure that you're being balanced - Bisping clearly hurt Silva several times early on in the fight and continued landing throughout.

But you are most probably right that Silva won the fight outside of the score cards although I don't think that's what is being discussed here.

Tell that to the judges who scored Lawler/Condit. Very similar fight where one fighter outstruck the other by a huge margin but the other fighter was trying to finish and closer to finishing it

The judges for Lawler/Condit got it right regardless of all the endless bitching that went on around here. Condit missed nearly 70% of his strikes and most of what he threw had little to nothing on them outside of one round. Thankfully we're not scoring bouts with FightMetric otherwise we'd have had the most uninspiring welterweight title change ever.

Bisping leveled up in my book. What a fighter. Tough as nails.

His post fight speech was all class as well. Gained more respect for Bisping with that speech.

You do realize Bisping missed 70% of his strikes too, right?

You claiming Bisping did no damage is a joke.

Bisping Clearly won on the score cards it wasn't even close to a robbery The Count had 2-3 knock downs and had Plenty of momments even in the rounds he lost.

and untill that Knee Bisping actually had round 3 wrapped up.

Um, Bisping had 1 Knock down. Count them, 1. Not 2, not 3. One.

It doens't matter what he was doing before the knee, the fact is the knee landed. This isn't theorycrafting or hypotheticals

Funny how youve been around almost as long as me but I havent noticed what a whiny douche you are till recently.

And I deserve respect too

If you all listened to me, you could have made some $$

He clearly lost the 4th round after acting like a clown, again

So disappointing because he was looking awesome in the last 3 rounds.

He looked awesome in the later rounds because Mike took a flying knee and couldn't even see anything in the final round. It would have been a victory for Silva based on Bisping defeating himself by trying to call time. Right now it's a victory for Bisping based on Silva defeating himself. Both tarnished outcomes to a fight which was actually looking like it was going to become legendary.

I cried when they announced Bisping as a winner.

Lol he rocked Anderson once and had 2 clear knock downs just re-watched it you butthurt salty cry baby.

dont agree with the decision but it was a good fight. I enjoyed it. Bisping did a lot better than I thought he would against ANderson... still dont think he won though.. but oh well, was a fun fight to watch so yeah, respect to Bisping ..

I was only replying in the context of Lawler/Condit. Your reply made it seem like Condit got the shit end of the stick when in fact the judges actually managed to get the "effective" bit of the striking criteria right for a change.

Herb was a second away from stopping the fight. When Bisping knocked him down in the first mate.

And he busted Anderson up pretty badly.

All damage was from the Dodgy knee (can't blame Silva for it though Herb motioned to Bisping but forgot to stop Anderson)

Exactly... This is the reality of the situation. Firstly all of this is mainly Bisping's fault for ruining the fight with retardation. But also Herb Dean looked like he was moving in to call time to me, then a moment later, boom.

Then Silva's own retardation added to an already ridiculous situation when he refused to turn up the heat and put the pedal to the metal in round four.

Lol @ people wishing Anderson would have won on the basis of some bullshit like that whole situation. The blame lies with Bisping for ruining the legitimacy of this fight. He wanted it his whole life then tries to pause the fight for something stupid like a mouthpiece and takes a shot which changes the scenery of the entire fight as a result.
