I get it that Bisping isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think he's always been pretty true to himself. I always feel he's pretty straight forward and gonna tell you how he feels.

I'd rather someone like Mike who can come off like a dick sometimes, over someone like Jon who has came off as fake many times over the years.

No, you tried to recover from a major error in your initial, and very cunty, post. "That was a clear as day 29-28 for ping" - does not mean "he won 3 out of 5 rounds". You're initially saying he won only 2 rounds. You weren't aware of the fight being a 5-rounder, and proceeded to make up a lame ass excuse for your lack of knowledge on a fight you were pretending to be an authority on.

Silva finished his ass at the end of the third round. It was gift from Herb that he was allowed to continue, and a gift from the hometown judges to get a 48-47 out of it, when at the very best for Bisping, it should've been a 47-47 draw since he was gifted a continuation after being finished. Herb fucked up, plain and simple.

Scoring wise, the fourth round is (historically) the only contested round. Please tell me your personal assessment of that round. How did you score it for Bisping? Was it the eye poke that stole the round for him? You'll have to actually watch the fight, fella. Shucks.

You edited your post 2 minutes after I replied. Why are you insisting on being dishonest and making up bullshit? The times are displayed on both posts.

If you think I actually never watched the fight, & wasn't misspeaking while trying to get across the point that Bisping had 1 more round than Anderson, then I don't know what to tell you. that in no way negates the fact that at the time of the fight, four years ago, I DID watch the fight very intently & rewatched it afterwards, around that time. The SENTIMENT that I was expressing, which STILL rings true, is that Bisping had clearly won one more round than Silva had won overall.

Fighters do not decide when a finish happens. The ref does. Had Silva attempted some follow up strikes, perhaps he would have gotten the finish. Perhaps not. But he didn’t, and now we’re left speculating. ANDERSON fucked up, plain & simple.

@Fioretti As far as the fourth round goes, I just remember feeling confident that Bisping had outworked him & controlled the cage more. It was the closest round, but it seemed pretty clearly for Bisping at the time, & in the few rewatches that I did of the fight around that time.

I had no dog in the fight & was really impressed by Bisping for surprising me & pulling off what looked to be a well deserved win.

none of my posts show me as a Bisping lover or a Silva hater. I have no reason to lie about watching the fight live, & multiple times afterwards (4 years ago)

Herb fucked up by allowing the fight to continue. Silva was doing Bisping a favor by not following up with strikes, but it was clear as day that he was down and out. He sat there on the ground for a bit afterwards and got extra time to recover during the confusion.

Rewatch the fight, or just the fourth, but the entire premise is that Bisping was down and out from the knee. Bad call by Herb, and if by some odd chance the continuation was "warranted", that round is a clear 10-8 for Silva as that is the epitome of being saved by the bell. The horn sounding as Bisping went down and out is another reason it's Herb's fault more than Silva's.
 
The Bisping fight was the last time we saw glimpses of the great Spider.

Anderson looked like a bum in that fight until he landed a knee on a distracted Bisping.....
