First they came for your showerheads & toilets, then they came for incandescent light bulbs, then they came for I.C. engine vehicles, then they came for gas stoves and now they are coming for your poop !!

Human Waste is Safe for Growing Vegetables, Researchers Say
(Bloomberg) -- As farmers in Europe and across the world grapple with increases in the cost of fertilizers, researchers suggest a solution may be closer to home in what people flush down the toilet.
A peer-reviewed paper by scientists in Europe published Monday in the journal Frontiers in Environmental Science found that fertilizer made from human feces and urine is safe to use, and that only extremely tiny quantities of chemicals from medicines or drugs, for example, would get into the food.

In 2011, our foundation’s Reinvent the Toilet Challenge asked researchers if they could develop safe sanitation solutions that work without relying on sewage systems or running water.
They created toilets that convert feces into valuable resources, including fertilizer, clean water, and electricity.

A coincidence that the peer reviewed paper says human waste is fine as fertilzier and Gates has a toilet that turns waste into fertilizer...
Won't Gates just leave people alone...
I wouldn't be surprised if (In the not too distant future) some State gov. mandate human waste be turned into fertilizer.

In all seriousness: Some of these toilets turns waste into ash, reducing water usage and making sanitation better. So sounds like a good thing. Others use chemicals to turn waste into fertilizer, which I am leary about.
