I'm not a wrestling fan but this shit is must see...

:D

I listened to this earlier today, shit was funny.

The first shoot he was talking about was Saturn and Bell

I don't know why because I knew exactly what he was going to say but when he gets to "...and this Japanese guy just snaps. He open hand just slaps this fat fuck in his head." I damn near blew milk out my nose. Literally. I was drinking milk at the time that I was listening to this.

It seems like from watching both the Inoki and Saturn clips there that those dudes got what was coming to them....Antonio got it worse and deservedly so....The worst thing that happened to Bell was him not falling out of the ring correctly and that was on him not Saturn...though I do blame Terri somehow.

Antonio Inoki is a wrestling GOD in Japan and regardless of it just being wrestling, in any line of work and life, sometimes you have to really know your role. Great Antonio decided to no sell Inoki and then gave Inoki some stiff shots to an area that is a no-no and that's the back of the neck. Inoki was a bit excessive but it's Japan, looking at the era, it's not that excessive.

Saturn snapped a bit but honestly, if you are a pro wrestler or a long time fan, there's no way you cannot understand why Saturn did what he did. It's not just something wrestlers say but it's the truth; you put your body and life in the hands of someone else and if they cannot perform an arm drag, they should not be wrestling in the ring. Bell messed up two arm drags and both times, Saturn basically landed on his upper back/neck. Saturn didn't go too far compared to what JBL and others have done to jobbers considering the fact Saturn had a legit reason to be upset but even Saturn said he's was a bit out of it.

Love Bill Burr. His take on this stuff is great.

Hope he incorporates more wrasslin references on his cartoon F is for Family. In the 1st season some kid jumps off a shed onto another kid and screams "Im HAYSTACKS CALHOUN!". Thought that was a cool reference since the show is based in the 70s.

I want more Burr talking wrestling

I can understand why Inoki would shoot on that guy. By no-selling he's fucking with your livelihood, even more so considering that Inoki was the promoter. But the reason I have a problem with it is I think I read somewhere that the guy is basically retarded, he was just some mentally challenged guy with freakish strength - "retard strength" if you will. So he shouldn't have been in there in the first place.

What a forward thinker Inoki was then, didn't see a retard, just saw an asshole looking for an a whooping.

Yeah. Wikipedia refers to him as an "eccentric" and the descriptions seem to make him sound more mentally ill than mentally retarded but that's splitting hairs. The descriptions of his strongman career sounds impressive and seems to be legit. "Monkey with a razor blade" is a term used to describe this sort of situation: a danger to himself and others but not totally liable.

The blame should probably be on whoever hired him.

Business needs to get hot again just so Bill Burr can talk about it.
