Keep telling yourself that. Rich people don't have enough wealth just to confiscate it all and fix the problem. Middle class is going to have to get taxed more too. 3 trillion works out to about $10,000 a head across the population of America. So from my little family that would cost another 40 Grand a year.

I mean Hillary isn't "ours". Party doesn't make someone yours, their ideas do. That's why we're turning on Hillary cause she isn't a real liberal. That's the issue you're thinking anecdotally. People are entitled to housing and depending on private charity has proven it can't meet that need. Government can but fiscal conservatives(ie traitors) have used the myth of scarcity to make people suffer in the name of an imaginary debt crisis. The point is people shouldn't have to hope an individual does the right thing to save them they are entitled to a roof over their head.

But yeah was referring to charity's trying to fix macro issues in place of government. Not the concept of one individual helping another. That doesn't solve the systemic problems that required you to do that work in the first place.

I mean they are the only ones capable. Individual charity or any non mandatory giving is not capable of solving problems. Especially in a capitalist society(we were socialist before conservatives destroyed our wonderful country) when all the incentives are to hurt rather than to help and when they are to help they are to do as little as humanely possible.
