Lesnar might be coming back, and to this day, I feel like this was literally the biggest match that never was made, especially what Lesnar was able to accompilsh in his relatively short MMA career.
Hong Man Choi, I know people make fun of him now, but in his prime, he was a fucking monster. He does have a grappling background, and to this day, he is the only man in 20 + year of Fedor Emelianenko's career, who took him down TWICE in the clinch, not only once.
He's the only one in the history of MMA, in my opinion, who actually NEEDED testosterone therapy, who was advised doctors to get it at least a year or two of it, but didn't get it, then lost 60+ pounds of mass after actually getting a brain surgery to remove a tumour but said fuck all to the hormonal therapy and then never been same since.
[Before surgery]
[After surgery saying fuck all to hormonal therapy that was recommended at least for a year]
I feel like as great as Ngannou's power is, Hong Man Choi would've made him his bitch, as well as Lesnar. I actually think Lesnar in his prime and healthy, is a really strong heavyweight, and his stand up and chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be, but he is more speed and power take down guy, and when it comes to strength vs strength, as strong as LEsnar is, and as technical as Lesnar is, I think Hong Man Choi would have smashed him.
It's interesting to think about...
