The fans got screwed here in southern Cali, i rather have Hendo vs Machida as a 5 round main event, than rousey vs someone ive never heard of or even care about, womens MMA has no depth, its weak and does not deserve a main event, that fight should be the main even on the udnercard on fuel or fx.

Yeah, I was just making a little joke since it is the main event of a ppv they are no doubtedly extra pissed off.

I'm not exactly happy with it considering it likely ends in 1 round and we could potentially see either Machida or Hendo get screwed in a close 3 round decision.

I guess Ariel is the one passing along the info but its hit other sites. It appears as if GSP says he wants Nick Diaz, and that Dana said that GSP has been the champion for so long he has earned the right to call somebody out, so if Diaz accepts the fight, he will apparently get next shot at GSP.

Hendo is better off in a 3 rounder and he wouldn't have had to worry about a title shot since he's gonna lose anyways :wink:

The real losers are the fans since the Rousey fight is 5 rounds and it will only take a minute meanwhile we miss out on 2 more rounds of Hendo Machida

it's a title fight so it should be at the top of the card. The only problem I have is that this fight will likely end in the first round, and I think most people would love to see a 5 rounder between Hendo and Machida. I wish the UFC would consider still making this a 5 rounder but I doubt they will do that.

Hopefully lots of people if the UFC markets it right. They need to get Rousey doing the rounds on the big talk shows, ESPN, etc. But they also need to push the Machida Hendo fight like a co-main.

* i think the biggest looser here would be hendricks because he deserved a title shot....he won his fights...he prooved himself...and he gets screwed coz GSP thinks Diaz is a a*****e...hendricks is the looser

* rousey and the WMMA will get exposed in a larger scale...so it is no looser

* hendo vs machida....it might not be a contendership fight but if it is more exciting fight than shogun rua's fight..then hendo or machida cud be the contender....
COZ RIGHT NOW..THE TITLE CONTENDER MATCH..OR THE TITLE ELIMINATOR MARCH IN UFC IS A JOKE....It does not matter if u are the no.1 contender....jus coz u are a no.1 contender does not mean u cud get the title shot....
